I always credit for music I took from ffshrine. Please don't ever make misunderstood posts like this when you know nothing about how my website works.

Saw the reply, please credit for both lossless/lossy on the Piano please, wont ask for more, thank you for uploading to yours and spreading it.
Currently uploading flac for Original Soundtrack, will take a bit of time so hang on a little while longer guys, then I'll move onto the Regalia Playlist most likely tomorrow.
Also if I ever have a bit of extra time, I will scan in the accompanying booklet and official covers for all soundtracks. Current ones up are my own covers I quickly put together.

It's clear she didn't, unfortunately the booklet does not state otherwise on credit for individual pieces, just gives the base tracklist. :(
All extra credit is compiled at the back of the booklet, the additional composers are Tetsuya Shibata, Yoshino Aoki and Yoshitaka Suzuki, but seems all credit for the entire soundtrack has been given to Shimomura herself.
the tags came straight from the disc itself for all tracks, it's a shame as I'd love to know also who composed what pieces for tagging purposes as well.

flac of the Original Soundtrack added for everyone on the first post. all pieces are 96Khz/24Bit, and I've split the rar file into two as it's a pretty big ol' thing despite compressing as much as i could allow.
Enjoy guys! I'll be scanning in the booklet asap then moving onto the Regalia Collection, but please be patient with me as it may take a couple days, over 900 minutes of audio I need to compile and tag from the mkvs, so it will be a little bit of a wait for it. Thanks again guys.

Unfortunately not I'm afraid. Booklet contains the Soundtrack tracklist, thankyou note by Yoko Shimomura/Hajime Tabata, a small interview with all composers (this is unfortunately in Japanese), and credits. It shows that Tetsuya Nomura has been given credits for original (guessing Somnus) lyrics and others for the Latin Translation/Adaptation.

As far as I am aware of the source is PCM 2.0 Channel for the OST.

I believe composer breakdowns are in the MP3 OST, but Shimomura was given artist credit for all weirdly enough (I blame SE for lazy tagging as well as myself for not seeing it sooner) I did miss this earlier as somebody else asked about tags in the MP3's, I didn't properly look, so sorry about that! :(
I had a proper look after all the ripping etc.., I can give a complete breakdown for everyone so they are able to tag them if you'd like, or I can re-upload with correct tags. Again sorry about missing it out on the flac files.

I prefer the OMNIS LACRIMA version in memoria album to this album. The one in this album feels weirdly arranged and looped.

Are you referring to the mp3 OST? I didn't touch the file names on those to my knowledge, but I did on the flacs. (Sorry about that again aha, juggling all the tagging/ripping with work wasn't the best idea!)
And as for the Regalia Soundtrack, I'll most likely just do mp3 as it's just a compilation of pieces from each FF soundtrack, and would probably be a waste of a lot of storage being kept at flac really when mp3 should be sufficient enough considering the source is 48Khz/16Bit.

It's clear she didn't, unfortunately the booklet does not state otherwise on credit for individual pieces, just gives the base tracklist. :(
All extra credit is compiled at the back of the booklet, the additional composers are Tetsuya Shibata, Yoshino Aoki and Yoshitaka Suzuki, but seems all credit for the entire soundtrack has been given to Shimomura herself.

It does don't worry! All appropriate tags have been changed accordingly to each tracks. I missed this at the beginning as all artist tags were labelled to Shimomura for all tracks as opposed to the actual composers of each tracks, but all resolved.

And as for the Regalia Playlist, it's pretty much that. Shame it doesn't contain all playlists for each game, as opposed to SE just hand picked pieces to go in the game and in turn on this playlist.

Does anyone know what happened with "In Dreams" that was originally in the ULTIMATE COLLECTOR'S EDITION soundtrack? Was it a demo track that got rearranged and/or placed in another song? Can't seem to find it in the 96 tracks.

It's canon. Not that you miss out on much by not playing it. It's related to some flashbacks in the Brotherhood anime, and to why a young Noctis was in Tenebrae at one point.

I'm sure there will be a XV Plus soundtrack (I expect there to be some music in the DLC that isn't in the main game, so it makes sense). Right now, In Dreams is available on the Ultimate Collector's Edition soundtrack, which can be found elsewhere on this forum.

What so special about the "Regalia playlist" ?

So what's exactly missing from this soundtrack then? I've heard a few people say that a few tracks are exclusive to another FFXV OST, would it be possible for someone to upload just those missing songs, I'd like to have a "complete" FFXV soundtrack.

The only two I can think of are "In Dreams" from the Platinum Demo and "Prelude (for World of Wonder)," which plays in the Credits available from the game menu after finishing the main story. Additionally, "Too Much Is Never Enough" by Florence + The Machine plays in the aforementioned credits roll. "Prelude" is available on the Ultimate Collector's Edition soundtrack along with "In Dreams" and the Florence song is on the FFXV EP she released.

Besides the two CrackerG mentioned, there's also the "Braver" single by Afrojack and the Lucian Cruisin' Collection album. Neither of them are on the Regalia disc, and I'm still somewhat salty about that. AFAIK, they aren't on any soundtrack at the moment.

I've been listening to the OST and the FLAC audio quality seems a tad off. Is this FLAC upconverted? Is the source from Blu-Ray? Did it rip correctly? Or is the mixing not that great? Like in Apocalypsis Noctis, it sounds compressed. (Using Sennheisers HD598 with Fiio E17K)

So I mention in this post (Thread 212480) about trying to reconcile the different soundtracks that were released for FFXV. From what I can tell, the "Ultimate Collector's Edition Special Soundtrack" contains the following additional tracks:

25 NOX AETERNA (E3 2013 Trailer) - Bonus Track 3:41
26 Fight Fantastica (TGS 2014 Trailer) - Bonus Track 2:28
27 Veiled Aggression (Jump Fiesta 2015 Trailer) - Bonus Track 2:22
28 Song of the Stars - Dawn (Gamescom 2015 Trailer) - Bonus Track 2:55
29 APOCALYPSIS NOCTIS (Uncovered Trailer) - Bonus Track 2:13

I went ahead and uploaded them separately to help anyone else who's interested in having them be part of the original soundtrack (but doesn't want to download the entire soundtrack again just for those tracks). FWIW.

Note: The track numbers were labelled in the 100s to retain the original track numbers and append them to the end of the original soundtrack. I haven't gone through listening to the entire soundtrack yet, so as far as I can tell, this is it. If I missed anything, please feel free to point it out.

For anyone owning the standard Blu-ray release, (https://store.na.square-enix.com/product/425657/final-fantasy-xv-original-soundtrack-standard-edition-blu-ray-music-disc) is this OST mixed in 5.1 surround on Blu-ray? And if yes, has anyone got a multichannel release in the works? I would kill for a proper multichannel release of the OST.

So I mention in this post (Thread 212480) about trying to reconcile the different soundtracks that were released for FFXV. From what I can tell, the "Ultimate Collector's Edition Special Soundtrack" contains the following additional tracks:

24 Prelude (for World of Wonder) 2:56
25 NOX AETERNA (E3 2013 Trailer) - Bonus Track 3:41
26 Fight Fantastica (TGS 2014 Trailer) - Bonus Track 2:28
27 Veiled Aggression (Jump Fiesta 2015 Trailer) - Bonus Track 2:22
28 Song of the Stars - Dawn (Gamescom 2015 Trailer) - Bonus Track 2:55
29 APOCALYPSIS NOCTIS (Uncovered Trailer) - Bonus Track 2:13

I went ahead and uploaded them separately to help anyone else who's interested in having them be part of the original soundtrack (but doesn't want to download the entire soundtrack again just for those tracks). FWIW.

Note: The track numbers were labelled in the 100s to retain the original track numbers and append them to the end of the original soundtrack. I haven't gone through listening to the entire soundtrack yet, so as far as I can tell, this is it. If I missed anything, please feel free to point it out.

There's an Unreleased Trailer Music Collection that comes with the soundtrack if you order it from Amazon in Japan

and there's the Platinum Demo soundtrack, with In Dreams on it, albeit not downloadable or transferable to a computer by normal means

The only thing truly exclusive to the Ultimate Collector's Edition is the World of Wonder Prelude and the Brotherhood tracks (although, again, In Dreams is for all practical purposes exclusive as well)

Seconded. This would be amazing.

The soundtrack sounds quite a bit better when listening to it at a good volume on its own. I think it was greatly overshadowed in the game with all of the action and voice acting going on.

So this has a 96 kHz sampling rate (48 kHz frequency range) and 24-bit samples. Are those really utilized? We've been misled before by Square Enix with their Blu-ray albums.

Is there sound above 22 kHz? Is the dynamic range higher? Is the noise floor lower? Some analysis and hard data would be appreciated.
I'm asking mainly to be better able to decide between this and the CD version.

Edit: So i've checked some tracks from the Ultimate Collector's Edition Blu-ray. Indeed, there is sound above 22 kHz, all the way up to 48 kHz, but there's very rarely anything above 26 kHz. The dynamic range is also higher. Overall, I think the over triple file size this requires (compared to CD-quality 44.1 kHz 16-bit) isn't worth it, you need exceptional ears and exceptional audio equipment to notice the small (if any) increase in fidelity.

1st: A really big THANK YOU for this amazing Upload, especially in Hi-Res FLAC.

2nd: The is a Volume 2 Collection with the newer Stuff (5xCD or 2xBD)**. I'll highly appreciate the 2xBD version, if you can offer it in Hi-Res FLAC too (on MEGA)!
