What is up with some of these track titles? Good Luck Little Sister? I can't think of what that would apply to. Also, what's up with tracks that have "Rogue One, Part 1" and then "Rogue One, Part 3"? Where is 2? Maybe this is Giacchino's revenge for not being able to use silly puns on the album.

Good Luck Little Sister was a line from the movie.

The reason why some tracks are split into parts is because Williams' music was used, so it had to be edited out.

I think that was an actual line spoken in the film. I forget which scene but I remember somebody saying that to Jyn at some point. But the context wasn't literal...more as fellow brother and sisters in beliefs and goals.

It means that if you needed to edit these 48 kHz cues with music from the CD or other FYC cues, you'd have to resample them to 44.1 kHz before doing so (or conversely, upsample the CD/44.1 kHz to 48 kHz). When combining/integrating material from separate files, their sampling rates must match. In this case, I believe, it's moot since these cues are heard in full on the CD, so these FYC edits are essentially worthless.

I was wondering this may be, too. It also could be an error since the file itself directly on Disney's website is the same exact way. It's possible, maybe not highly likely, that they might fix it though. I think one of the other cues' links was bad the first day and they fixed that. Sooo here's hoping!

Might be considered "source music." So little of that has been released from the SW films over the years, or comes out way after (see "Jabba Flow," the song performed at Maz's castle in TFA).

I was afraid that this error wouldn't be fixed at all.

They seem to be very responsive in their emails, I'm kind of upset that we didn't ever email Paramount when they had issues with their tracks, like Interstellar and TF4. Maybe they would have been just as responsive and ended up fixing those said tracks.

Yes, it's really a shame with Paramount... Basically, each studio should have someone who cares for such things as at Disney.

And it's even more shameful that last year (as far as I know) Paramount released no physical FYC promo. It would have been great, especially with all of the various versions they posted on the site.

I have not seen a physical copy on ebay yet, so I would guess no. That's usually a sign that discs actually have been sent out to people who vote. I would assume within the next week or two physical copies will probably start floating around and making their way to ebay, though.

It will probably end up selling for almost that much. I think the first few FYC copies of The Force Awakens that sold on ebay went for $600. Which is funny, because now they go for about $60.

I've just realized that "ACADCD Edit 2" means "Academy CD"... all those cues (5m32 Rogue One, 6m37 Scrambling the Rebel Fleet and AT-ACT Assault) feature some intros /outros to cut away Williams's themes (which you can hear in the respective OST cues). The Academy rules say that a Promo cd must contain only the composer's original music and arrangements from other composer's themes must be cue away (as happened with "007 Skyfall").

As for the "ACD" of 4m28 Confrontation on Eadu, I guess it means again "Academy CD", but the opening was probably cut away just for the sake of it, since there's no Williams's theme in those first 2 minutes.

Actually, you're wrong. Krennic's Aspirations goes AFTER Confrontation on Eadu. Krennic didn't stop by Mustafar prior to Eadu, but after the Rebel attack on the Imperial installation.
