Disappointing --- Kingdom Hearts II.net reports (http://www.kingdomhearts2.net/news2/headlines/112079471.shtml) that Kingdom Hearts II might not be out till 2006. They're also saying that could be true of Final Fantasy XII as well, but honestly, I was really looking forward more to Kingdom Hearts II. Ah well --- if they still have work to do with it, I guess that's okay with me. I want it to be the most kick-ass game possible.

Arg, I've been waiting for this to come out since I beat KH. I can't believe it got delayed again, it'll probably be worth it once it comes out though. Is there anywhere on the internet where it discusses the plot or is that unknown as well, I'm guessing it is unknown, but I'll ask anyways.

Oh, come on, KHII is gonna be twice as cool. I've heard they've really worked out the camera bugs, they've got characters from Mulan in there and Sora not only has a cool new outfit but a sweet new ability where he can merge with Donald or Goofy and duel-wield.

Also, i'm dissapointed and relieved by the delay. At the previous time frame, KH2, the PSP and the Xenon were going to be released all at the same time in Australia - and my pocketbook doesn't stretch that far. At least a staggered release gives my finances time to recover.

I recomend that site as well. Some of the trailers really show some intense fighting.

that is not true i beleive squareenix can make the cutline in time because they are cool and collected. they done it before and they can do it again well they were actually squaresoft then though.

The only thing, and I repeat only thing which would make me consider playing KH2 is the presence of Auron in the game, and only then if he wipes out the main characters and you take over sole control of him with a FFX-style battle system.

I repeat again that I heard in PSM magazine a couple months ago that it was supposed to be released in September. But they probably are changing it to 2006.

In the beginning, FFXII and KH were moved to the 2005 Fiscal Year. Then came this E3, they were moved to 2006 Fiscal Year. Can't say I would know the reasoning behind it. FFXI on the Xbox 360 only took them several months to port and that is most likely another department. Perhaps setting things up for PS3?

Either way, we got awhile to go.

Kingdom Hearts 2 comes out on the 24th of June in the UK. I checked the HMV website, they get the game shipped in for the 24th of June.

That was disproved in another thread. It isn't even out in Japan yet, so there's noo chance in hell you'll have it there this month. That's a very old release date that hasn't ever been updated.

Kingdom Hearts II is now Winter 2005 confirmed from everything I've been reading lately. It sounds like it's been shaping up really well and I've been hearing a lot of exciting things.

So its not coming out on the 24th June? Still, Winter 2005 is a great release date =D At least we dont have to wait a whole year..

Normally, I wouldn't either, but they confirmed at E3 that this is what they have planned and they seem pretty set on it and from what I've seen --- work on the game has been going really well, so it seems reasonable.
