Tonight's Set Menu is:

Appetizer ()

- Butternut Squash Soup

* Mildly sweet in flavour
* Nice mild contrast for the next dish.

Main Course (http://www.icestormcity.com/hiryu_nakazaka/stuffedsole.JPG)

- Stuffed Sole w/ bechamel sauce.

* The Sole (which is a fish) is stuffed with shrimp. The technique for rolling the forcemeat of shrimp into the fillet of Sole is called "ballotine (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=ballotine)".

* The white sauce (stfu for those who are thinking nasty) is a "bechamel (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=bechamel)". Apparently, this was flavoured according to the Instructor.

Dessert ()

- Lemon Sherbert

* The holding container is self-explanitory. A hollowed-out, shaped, frozen piece of lemon.

* The stand on the bottom of the lemon is a hardened "meringue (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=meringue)".

* The cookie that stands as a garnish is a sugar almond cookie. Im not a big fan of it though because it is too sweet for me. The backside was dipped in chocolate.

I've never tried any of this food... makes me want to right now. It looks tasty, yet another part of me says "ew sea food".
