Yeah, not sure how the hell that even happened?? That's a pretty big error from a design standpoint. It's one thing for the design team to make the mistake but then whoever approved and signed off the set also didn't catch it, either.

You can see the gaffe on the pic in this thread. The T-Rex on the JP album insert is missing his chompers for some odd reason.

Yeah, let's fire John Williams.

LoL
But why blame the composer when he has absolutely nothing to do with the graphic design of the album?

Lol, didn't catch that. The idea of a T-Rex gumming down tourists isn't nearly as gripping as Spielberg's original premise.

Probably some snowflake who complained about it being too graphic.

:this:

Aside from the fact that he wrote the music, Williams probably has nothing whatsoever to do with this release. He doesn't own the rights to the music - Universal does, who then gave La-La Land permission to release it (though why now and not 3 years ago instead of the crappy 20th anniversary release is beyond me. Maybe rights issues).

But anyway, that doesn't matter as much to me as having all this music does. JP is my favorite Williams score (tied with Raiders) and my favorite Spielberg film (tied with Raiders and Catch Me If You Can).

Actually Williams has everything to do with this release... he insisted that Mike Matessino worked on this project.

What a nice thing to wake up to. I haven't yet but I do plan on purchasing this. I've waited and missed out on every other release (including vinyl) of these scores for this specific release. I'm dumbfounded and excited that LLLR managed to secure the rights to these scores. It's a real dream come true. Now I hope I'm not blasphemous in wishing that they had managed to secure the rights for JP3 by Don Davis. I'd had the complete score for that for years but now that the first two scores are available basically complete, I decided to give it a proper listening. Davis is on full Williams mode and I thought it was a pretty fun score. I'm interested in doing a deluxe edition of JP3 but I'm curious if anyone has any GENUINE lossless files to work from. All I have is MP3 which considering some of these tracks are gonna need some work, I don't want to depress the quality any further.

Thanks for this share and thanks to anyone who can help me with lossless JP3 files.
