Fret not. On the FYC sites it's just the OST that streams. But the actual discs may be totally different. Sometimes they're the same, sometimes they're different. Look at last year: The Good Dinosaur was the same but The Force Awakens was actually different and contained unreleased material. Just stay positive.

And what I'm saying is they're not always the same. Can't say about websites going back past 2013 (when I started doing this), but look at Monster's University. That's nearly complete. And Finding Nemo is pretty lengthy as well. I'm willing to bet Dory's disc will be like that.

Disney had the TFA FYC as mp3s on their website, which were the same files as the FYC, just not lossless. So if they're putting mp3s of the FYCs up again now, the discs will probably contain the same files, nothing different.

Yeah, on Disney's site Monster's University had a few tracks from what I recall, then the FYC was loaded. It's really hit and miss with Disney FYCs. Big Hero 6, Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur were all the same.

What makes you think Purple Lamborghini is a demo? And there won't be an FYC

The version in the film (Strip Club and Post Bar scene) is the demo Skrillex played a couple of times before the release. The final released one has a completely different drop, with only elements of the demo remaining.

Yeah as AmanoChan said, it's actually SHORTER than the official. It's okay though. I read an interview where Abel had mentioned that it wasn't wall to wall and only used when needed. The album runs around 30 minutes and it doesn't feel like anything is missing but without having seen the film, I can't say anything about what's missing. As with an Abel score I hear, I can't help wanting more. A prime example is the film that shouldn't even exist called Escape from Tomorrow. It was controversial for its unauthorized use of the Disneyland property to film a psychological thriller. As cool as it sounds, the film is not really all that good. HOWEVER, the short 22 minute score offered by Abel is quite good for such a crap film. I admire what the director wanted to do with it but the fact that he got it done at all and that Disney wanted to pursue no legal actions to prevent drawing more attention to the film is accomplishment enough. It got accepted into Sundance and many thought nobody would ever see it but if you browse Netflix, it's there. There is heart in the film, it's not without its merits, but due to low budget reasons and limited resources the director ended up making the film into a confused mess. It was breaking new ground and the director had a very strong basis behind the film that drew me to it. I have to give him credit for all of the work he managed to get done with so little to work with and getting this past his editing table into an actual festival along with his hiring of (new to me at the time) composer Abel Korzeniowski who produced a rather personal and twistedly beautiful composition, that I personally could listen to on loop for hours, which makes the film a point above bearable. Like Philip Glass, but on a whole other level, his music is like ear candy to me. Now if I could somehow find a COMPLETE 2.5 hour rip of his version of the score for Fritz Lang's Metropolis (rather than the paltry 30 minute album), I'd have all that I need of his music. If you've never seen Metropolis, get off the computer and go watch it now. Preferably the restored complete version with the original score re-recorded under the baton of Frank Strobel. I haven't seen the shorter versions but having seen the restored cut, I don't really want to.

I think WB usually posts small sections of the official released album in their FYC website. Don't hold your breath for a FYC with unreleased material. It's more likely to get some unreleased material from a FYC disc rather than their website.

Yes it is. See it sitting there in that pretty velvet box? That's what was sent out. It's the also the OST. This is not the FYC you're looking for, but it's what exists. It's been several years since WB put out an FYC that differentiated from the OST.

Even as far back as 2012, 5 years ago....The Hobbit was the same. 2 discs: disc 1 had the score, disc 2 the song.

The Departed from Howard Shore was the complete FYC Score i think. And it was WB.
Ah man...i want the "complete" Score from Dunkirk...the alternate "Oil" cue is so amazing.
