This soundtrack was acquired from "Gute Alte Spiel". I noticed the files were 24bit (44 KHz), so I used Sound Forge with the Izotope Noise Shaping to drop the bit depth to 16 bit, which reduced the flac file size from 800 to 200 MB (normally doing so only decreases the file size by ~45%). These days I prefer to use Audition (triangular dither with weighed noise shaping) when i wish to shrink HD audio / SACDs, but for some reason the program has issues opening several of the files... People cannot notice the difference between 24 bit and 16 bit. The noise floor increases, but this is only a problem for classical music. Enjoy!
