I have been playing Final Fantasy 8 for a few months now and am on disc 3 after having got the Ragnarok and saving Rinoa and am finding it really easy to level up!
Is anyone else finding that it is ridiculously easy to level up? Squall is already Level100 and he was like the others were and are doing now, levelling up every battle. I am fighting at the sorceress memorial places where Lunatic Pandora is now and using level up on the monsters and my people are levelling up really quickly. Did anyone else find that levelling up is incredibly easy?

That's only because the enemies level up with you.

Hence it's a bad idea, generally speaking. If you want a challenge or a sense of completion, then you'd want to get to lv. 100.

I always do.

I got to level 50 once before getting Ifrit. I just kept fighting the monsters outside Balamb a lot.

Yeah, leveling up is very easy on this one. I always get on level 100 a while before I'm going to finish the game. That's why I skip the regular monsters in Ultemecias castle, I only do the boss battles. Nothing else I can get there.... :erm:

Yeah they should have made the game a little harder. It would have made the game so much harder and funner. By the time you do the first SEED mission most people are at level 30 or 40 and thats only 40 mins into the game!

Ok, it isn't THAT easy and I don't know why you would level up to L50 before getting Ifrit. It has taken me a while due to school and other games and such. I left it for a while also but my playing hours is about 70hours.

lol.. it's only easy because the more you level up the harder the game gets... your challange is to get AP without leveling up too much

level 100 leaves you defenseless against lvl 5 spells like DEATH.. you dont want that
