I was wondering

I know how monsters lvl up with you, but who??? Is it based on squalls level???

So if Squall was lvl 46 (disc 3 barley hell yea I'm braggin) then does that mean that my average monster is lvl 46??

Also, is there a way I can quickly level up one of my guys? (Irvine to be specific, damn Rinoa had to go in a coma, irvines a mere lvl 18)

If you want to train your guys really quick, go to Is. closest to hell in disc 4. I think the monsters lvl is based on the average of your fighters, but then again im not 100% on that

Thats not gonna work seeing I'm on Disc 3 = ( and once I get Rinoa back I'll be using her.

What are some strong areas at the moment?

I'm pretty sure it's based on Squall's level, even when he's not in your party.

And the monsters on the Island Closest to Hell are all lvl. 100, so be prepared, but seeing as Rinoa's in a coma, you can't get there just yet; you need to wait until you have the Ragnarok airship, and then go to the Western-most island on the world map.

And make sure you get GF Cactuar before you begin to level-up; he has all of the level-up stat-boosts, so make sure you give them a run for all they're worth, because they're bloody useful.

Damn, Irvine your the man by the way lol (Edea thread^ ^)

Yea I still need to get Cacutar and Tonberry ehhhhh plus more that I don't know about.

Im in some Salt Lake right now... I think I'll just keep doing the mainstoryline for a lil bit.

Do I get Ragnorok in Disc 3?

I think monster level is an average of your characters' combined levels. At least, based on what I remember my experience being.

At this point, the best place to level up would probably be in the Garden Training Center, where you can fight T-Rexaurs. They are very easy if you blind them or put them to sleep (easiest to do by having either junctioned to a character's status attack).

...or junction 100x deaths to your characters, so the t-rexaurs die quick, you'll have so much fun leveling up...

Or just Junction the ability 'Initiative' to Quistis, get her into critical HP (but not too low) so she gets an early Limit Break. Have her use Degenerator. Instant win.

This strategy is an Axl-send when you're on the Island Closest to Hell and you run into those bastard Malboros.

Yeah, Quistis's Degenerator is so good that it's worthwhile to keep her in the party even after she reaches Level 100.
