Soul of the Ultimate Nation (aka SUN) was a fantasy MMORPG game that was released in 2007 and ran untill 2013. The reason the game closed in 2013 was because of the lack of players. Howard Shore started writing the music back in 2004, the year after "Return of the King" had come out. The soundtrack has been released previously but with terrible sound quality (I heard). Vol. 2 in the 'Collector's Edition' series from 2012 releases this wonderful music composed by Howard Shore in it's full glory!

Yes. Most of them can be found here. Just need to search for them and Volume 7 is going to be released soon which is the complete score to the film 'Se7en'.

Exactly. Although they are both released by Howe Records. I think the 'Sony BMG Music Entertainment Korea' release was the previous one.

I gave a full listen to the album, and have to conclude this isn't really up to what H. Shore achieved with LOTR.
Overall gloomy and dark atmosphere with lots of loud brass stings and no clear motive or clear idea throughout the entire score, which made the listening quite tiresome.
Still, thanks for the chance to try some of his post-LOTR work, as there are clearly some hints of his previous scores in those cues that stands out.

Yeah, I completely agree with you. And the cues that do stand out are really great to hear in which you can definitely recognize some LOTR :)
