In Advent Children, is Tifa and Cloud the main couple in the movie?
Or Aeris is gonna be revived, and enter Cloud's life again?
Cuz, I saw a trailer in the official site, and the scene where Tifa is talking to Cloud, well... I think that Tifa is telling Cloud not to go away.

I hope severely that Tifa and Cloud are not an item. I would consider that a miscalculation. Though, I think having Aeris revive could be equally contrived.

It would be stupid if they revied Aeris in the movie, because then the whole death scene would be pointless to the story if later she just came back to life.

well... i think, when i watched the trailer, i saw some scenes of cloud and aeris talking back to back. is that like cloud's dream or something?

Aeris won't come back, and this is ok. You'll probably see Cloud and Tifa a lot because they are running business together. But Cloud is still for Aeris because he loved her. I don't believe Cloud and Tifa are going to be a couple. That would be cheap. I don't think Cloud would pick her just because she's around.

yeah...or hes gonna die a horrible virgin death....now talk about a sad endin...as for cloud living by himself...this could be so that the love story unfolds in the movie...and not in the past so the viewers could watch them fall in love again...they will probably be asses...and have them look at each other all googley eyed at the end, moving towards each other all slow like...then the credits will roll out...jus to leave us hangin yet again...*shakes fist*...it better not be this way though!

regrettingly, i really think that they are an item. i seriously doubt that aeris is gonna come back i saw that trailer too and i think either (1) he is holucanating or (2) he was dreaming

Aeris will, most likely, be either a memory or, as I'm thinking, a kind of spiritual guide, or something like that. Just as Sepheroth was never really dead (Or was at least the Final Fantasy version of undead), Aeris could quite posibly still be alive in some fasion. I just doubt it will be in a way that her and Cloud can get together. I also think that it is quite possible that Cloud and Tifa get together. In the game, it never definatly told which girl he liked (though it did suggest Aeris strongly). In the movie, three years after the game, he has had sufficient time to get over Aeris and move on to Tifa. And he wouldn't be with her just because she's there, he's had at least some feelings for her from the begining.

I agree with Thanatos. I believe Cloud and Tifa will get together. Aerith died, although I would like that the party never forgets her, that they always remember her. That would be nice.

Cloud is stuk in this guilt for not saving Aeris. So in the moive *possible spoiler* he was a dream or a memory wer he asks or her forgiveness, so they talk (in the dream that is)

frankly, i agree with lionsheart that aeris is NOT COMING BACK!!!!! Although it would totally agree with the concept o the ff series but in all honesty she would have decomposed by the time they ressurected her and anyway would you go out with a girl who has been dead for five years :whatever:

well from what I can tell it is quite similar to the way the game was put out it just shows that cloud is remembering his past like in the game, than memories of aeris haunts him well it doesn't really say who the couple are it just make your imagination take over

I doubt Aeris is coming back, and as for CloudxTifa, I don't think they'll be an item at the start, but I think it would be nice for both of them if they got together in the end

i think it would be nice for cloud and tifa to be a couple, but it would suck if the movie revolved around that idea. anyway i think aries might be a spirital guide or come back as an "undead" but still kind of be dead... like how sephiroth was never really there in ff7 but was real enough to almost kill cloud.
