Hey! Um, it's been awhile. Who's having fun with Trails in the Sky the 3rd? (That should be all of you btw).

Just as with the FC and SC, I figured I'd make the experience complete for us Westerners - be that as it may. Presenting you Sora the 3rd Evolution's score modded and ready for you to use in the original game:

WHAT ELSE IS IN IT?

It's got all three EVO versions inside. This should work in all three games.

WHADDO I DO?

First, backup all the original OGG files in the "BGM" folder of the game's directory. Then, just drag and drop these files into the "BGM" folder and off you go!


BEFORE YOU GO:

You'll notice a few files have "-A/1/*" after them. These are....bonus tracks. Try them out in your favorite media player and see if you like them. It's your game, mix it your way! And someone complained on Reddit a bit ago about the very short version of "Overdosing Heavenly Bliss" in this album. I've got something special for you in here and I hope you like it! :D

I HATE YOU AND YOUR FRICKIN' MOD:

And that's okay. For 3rd's score I can see why people can be preferring the originals. Hearing the originals gives me a more of a "haunting" feeling while the Evo versions make me feel like I'm in more of a "mystery" world. You see for me I always imagined that the world of Zemuria could do with a full orchestra with synth mixed in (could you imagine if Falcom Sound Team joined forces with the Tokyo Philharmonic for Sen III?) but that's just a preference. And to be honest I'm also relatively new to the whole RPG/Falcom scene (as of late 2014) so I guess you can say I'm...rather different. But that's what makes us human right? But I think we can all agree on one thing: Falcom music ROCKS!

You can name the folder BGM1 and not replace BGM and the games let you choose in the menu, by the way. Just so you know.

It's more that I'm pretty sure Sara pushed until the very end to try to get official support for the Evo versions of 'multiple soundtracks' but it never came to fruition. Code was left in.

edit: A couple of the songs were causing crashes, and I figured out that it's because of the embedded cover art. If you remove the embedded artwork in the OGG files, the game won't crash. I've re-uploaded a fixed version.

I succeeded in adding a BGM1 folder and the game let me choose which BGM folder I want to listen in the game.
My question was : How to rename the BGM1 folder so that it won't appear as "Unnamed Pack 1" in the game options ?
From what I understood, I need to add a .txt file but where exactly ?
To make long story short, I want to call my BGM1 folder "Evolution" so that in-game in the options menu, I can select either "Original" or "Evolution".
