Hi Erich. Sadly I'm not a Bernstein connoisseur so if you don't mind, may I request a link to this set please? I've certainly heard a lot of his stuff not knowing it was Elmer Bernstein that composed it. Hopefully this set will prove how good his music was and is. Thanks again.

You know, Elmer Bernstein was the second film composer I discovered (first was John Barry). His themes were so memorable, they really stood out. Before I started to collect film music on vinyl I recorded these themes from TV speakers with my tape deck and Elmer Bernstein was - and still is - my hero.

No, you can not. If you were a more frequent visitor here or maybe even SHARED music you would know there are RULES.... and evidently poor Erich broke a few... he is BANNED and his posts are dead otters in the moonlight.

Well, don't call him poor, Eric can be anything you want, except poor. We have been very fortunate to have him here for a while, at which time he shared hundreds of scores, the majority very rare and difficult to obtain.

So for my part, I am very grateful for his generosity. As regards the fact that his posts are "dead otters in the moonlight", well I will try to re-up some of them.

POOR I wrote as in lamenting the POOR FELLOW. Yes, he did offer many recordings, but sadly he overstepped a line and our poor Erich was banned.
