I'm with Krysia. None of the Blitzers (apart from Tidus) knew of Sin's presence, before he blasted them all to kingdom come. Not a bad way to go, considering. I'd far rather die without realising it, especially if I could be doing something I enjoy.

Neither...I'd stay well out of the way of the whole shambles. No way in HELL would I ever join up with New Yevon.... as Rikku (maybe it was Paine?) put it: it has the word "Yevon" in it.
And the Youth League seem a bit... disorganised really. Like the only reason they all clumped together is to protest against NY.
