Ever since I saw his movie, 'the Labyrinth' when I was 9, he became one of my favorites. My friend says she doesn't like his songs cause he sounds too much like a moany frog, but I disagree. I don't really care when people degrade him, but he definetly doesn't sound like a frog, and he CAN sing.
So, what do you think of the Bowster?

He was quite snazzy. Haven't heard much of his stuff though, but I liked the way he dressed (make-up!)

He has a large package in the labyrinth. it should get its own screen credit.

Now David Bowie is cool, and so was him in Labyrinth, and so was Labyrinth in general...have you heard his song 1984 for the film, erm, Nineteen Eighty Four? It is amazing, naturally.

David Bowie oozes coolness. If you come across someone who doesn't like his get him or her to listen to 'Ziggy Stardust,' fucking awesome.

Under Pressure is such an awesome song.

Sometimes, I randomly sing it in public, and dance around.

Then I realize people are looking at me, and I cease.

I like David Bowie, especially the song, "Space Oddity." His songs are really quite good, and he's a good artist.

Ahh... Under Pressure... that was sung by Queen AND David Bowie. Queen's great. I can't get the song from the Labyrinth out of my head... Dance Magic Dance.. he sings a lot about dancing.

I dont mind a bit of david bowie. I went out on a search for a cd of him recently (basically coz i thought his song featured on GTA: San Andreas was fairly good)

I wanna buy one of David Bowie's Cds, but my mom has the car AND the money :/. I wanna buy some Alice Cooper, as well.

Hey, I really liked Labyrinth as well. I've only heard one of his songs: "Let's Dance" I wasn't very impressed...

I can't be bothered giving an in-depth explanation but David Bowie is one of my favourite artists. It also helps that he had a really weird personality as it makes his career a little more intriguing.

Bowie is a bad ass but not enough to warrant reviving threads nearing two years old :(

He's inventive and knows how to compensate for his shortcomings. He was never a great (or even a good) singer.

Also, the person who revived this thread deserves to be spanked. >O

My aunty's friend was in the same class as him in school, and he used to masturbate behind a desk during break times.

Right, Giga_flare?

IMO he' s not got a bad voice. Hardly the best ever, but not bad either.

I'm not into all of his stuff, but have to say I really did like "Under Pressure" (although admittedly it helps that I'm a big fan of Queen lol), as well as most of the songs he performed in Labyrinth.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten all about that lol

Don't revive a thread that hasn't been posted in for over a year with a biased post. It gives some of us an impression that it's a new thread until we find out that an onion kid bumped an old one back up to the top.
