Most obvious difference: audio fidelity. Numerous tracks on the boot contain a good deal of anomalous distortion and noise. Another noticeable difference: this version merges tracks which were originally intended to play through, while on the boot they play stand alone.

3m03 is Errol Flynn, not Evvol. Errol Flynn is the actor portraying Edmund Dantes in V's favorite film, The Count of Monte Cristo

5m05c is The Salt Flats (Alternate), not Sharps. No idea where that came from. The Salt Flats is the name of the film Valerie (one of the many people tortured and experimented on) starred in.

6m04a-b is Rookwood / Bad News, not Rockwood. William Rookwood is name V uses when he disguises himself upon meeting inspector Finch

And of course, 1m04s and 8m04s (which is the film mix btw) contain Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture

Ah. That sounds like it was lossy-sourced, edited and then saved as lossy again.

Probably very low-end MP3 encoder pre-2013.
