Ok, my buddy and i are in the third disk, lvling up and we want to go and fight the ruby and emerald weapon. we've heard that you can get aeris back after she is stabbed by sephiroth. My one and only question is HOW???

There is no real way, unless you concider cheating a real way.

So cheating is the only real way to get her back? Well that isnt really that fun.... :( im a little dissapointed.

Basically one Aeris is dead, she's dead. There was no programming for her at the latter part of the game and she just simply non-existant. If you were to bring her back by hacking the game, she would just be there as a playable character but she brings nothing to the story and quite often the game would glitch out because she wasn't meant to be playable.

You can also get Sephiroth, but if you move him the game fucks up and duplicates him, and seeing as you can't control Sephiroth, you have 3 characters that you can't use.

PS, cheating sucks.

I wish they would re - release the game with a sidequest to resurrect Aeris.... I would buy it again ;)

square has stop the aeris thing while they were working on the game couple rumors had been going around the web, but none of them works but game shark the ghost you see of aeris in the churh is a glitch that was made on the american version understand that even if there was a way it wouldn't make sense cause her death was necessary for the holy to stop the meteor at the end, but anyways projects had been made on extra footage for more ending including yuffie and vincent in it but it was cut short cause it wasn't necessary anymore so they remain with red Xiii and his grand child running with him but in the jap version there are things there that wasn't put in the american version

Her death wasn't necessary at all, holy added to meteors power, the lifestream stopped meteor.

Either way... Sephiroth stabbed her in the gut.... that's about it.

She died. Accept it, for the love of god! I thought she was a little anoying, anyway... I mean, it was sad that Sephie put it in her liver, but that's the way it is. It's meant to make us sad, and maybe a bit pissed off. But using Gameshark to bring her back, and cheating like hell to keep her there... that's pathetic.

The whole "Resurect Aeris" thing is a malicious rumour ( one of many surrounding FF-VII) and as sad as it is you cannot revive her with out a gameshark/Xplorer/Action Replay Cartridge

You can probably find a Gameshark on Ebay, or Amazon, if your local game store doesn't stock them

There is no freaking way to unklock or reveive Aeris after her death and i doubt the gameshark code will work.There was a rumour dat in d japanese version of the game u could revive Aeris and unlock other characters like a robot type sephiroth but i dont believe its true if u wanna know go by a japanese version of the game if there is still anyone arond.

The death scene wasn't awesome, it was really sad. You can't bring her back unsless you cheat. Her death made me sad. I can't remember when I felt so sad the last time. It was one of the worst moments in my life, beieve me. I wish she were alive, but that's a no-go.

Aeris was my fave character in ff7 and i never knew she was going to die at the end of the first disk so i was pretty shocked and upset. but i wouldnt cheat!

im not sure its etheir in the american or japernese games because at one time you could revive aeris i was so upset when aeris died i was so pissed of i really
hated sqauresoft but i found out in the old american final fantasy 8's you could revive aeris but they were the first to be realised but im not sure about the new ones in america

Aeris "died" but square has given some clues like the wallapper where aeris is watching the airship (she is already dead in that moment) or the ghost in the church or or or anithing else...AERIS I MISS YOUR SMILE!!!! I like her clothes in Kingdom hearts... maybe that's a clue...

if you can find a chrono trigger and an aeris clone then you can use it to freeze time and save aeris leaving that foolish sephiroth with an aeris clone sucker.

one more thing... Aeris didnt know she was gonna get a sword put through her back. Also, she has taken VERY large amounts of bullets, sharp stuff, and VERY painful poison so i dont see how a sword through her spine could kill her. btw she wouldnt die of pain because that would automaticaly kill that part of the nervous system.

I don't think she shud have died. She had a good role..... The game was better before she died.

But if she didnt die the story could have continued the way it did,

She had to die for two reasons:

1. It gave the game more plotlyness

2. Her final limit break "Great Gospel" makes your party members invinsible (if memory serves me right). Allowing you to have that in the final battle would have made the game far too easy.
