Do you think Final Fantasy will go on? Will there be a Final Fantasy 18? Will it one day stop or live on forever, I'm not so sure what do you think?

I hope so too. Everything must have an end though. But hopefully Final Fantasy's won't be any time soon. I'm interested to see the changes it will undergoe. Being that Final Fantasy has one of the greatest graphics, storylines, and music on the market, I don't think that it is going to happen soon. But there is always a chance...

id love it to contine but if you think about it in the long run, won't the story lines get really repetitive. eventually all the characters will hav no indviduality left and will resemblr someone from previous FF. i'm torn though cos i love FF so much

Final Fantasy would have to end someday. You think about it though, Square has really thrown us some curve balls lately (those sequel happy bastards), so they better watch themselves. I don't want to see such a wonderful series go down the drain quite yet. They still have some time left in them, so I don't think FF will stop anytime soon.

Yeah i agree wit you guys, sure its going to end but not anytime soon, plus if it didn't end it'd be the same sad story.

All I can say is that if Square-Enix decides to end the Final Fantasy series anytime soon, we cannot be dissapointed in them. I mean, look at all of the great games they've gave us (Final Fantasies VII, VIII, IX, X, ect.). I do agree that that the series will not end anytime soon, but remember, Square-Enix can do what they want to do, and they can end it if they wanted to (but I'd see no possible reason why they would want to).

Everyone is hoping it will just continue, but all good things must come to an end.
It will finish somewhere, and there's been a few rumours and FFXII is the last.

I hope it does not end too soon. Another couple maybe. Some people i know thought the next one might be the last, as X-2 was pretty much classed as the worst Final Fantasy, and they wanted to end on a high note.

Please don't state personal biases as though they're gospel truth. You make it out like X-2 was some kind of dismal failure that everyone hates. It wasn't. It was very highly rated and has a large fanbase.

Well, after they have finished with the games they can still make movies about the games. Although i dont think they plan on ending the FF series very soon tho as it has been very succesful.
