A main character that fights a person that made fun of him for being weak since he was a kid. And learned to fight to defeat him and died from exhaustion during the fight from trying so hard. The main character would win and than die with a sad death.

I would like to see an ending where the hero/heroine or someone close to the hero/heroine die (tragically, perhaps) or disappears, etc. and there is no sequel to revive them or "find them". (*cough*X-2*cough*) In short, I want a sad, depressing ending dammit!

well... for me, i would like a dramatic ending, like three close friends, two boys and a girl, travels to conquer the bad guy, then the other friend, the boy, got captured, which is like the boyfriend of the girl, then, the other friend, and the captured boy's girlfriend travels to find him. when they got into the castle of the bad guy, the friend of the captured one was killed by the controlled soldiers of the bad guy, then with the tears, the girlfriend continued to go, then she grew tired, and the soldiers were coming after her, then the captured one, got really mad and bursts out his true power. he kills the bad guy, and saved the girlfriend, then everything went back to normal, but his friend is dead, but his girlfriend lives...

final fantasy 7 had a horrible ending...lots of loose ends were not tied up...causing long debates about what REALLY happened in the game...and a sequel movie has to be made to clear things up ( i hope AC will do this)...@_@

4 peoples, 2 girls and 2 boys around 17 and 19 age. They were guardians for a Temple a special temple a holy temple that protects a special Mirror that leads to a inverted world as bad. But one day one of the boys got killed by a strong evil force that wanted the mirror to merge it with the both worlds, but the other survived and stopped the attack. Later after the crying sad moments etc, the last boy went in deep in to the temple ''Trial of Ray'' Were you can go and pray to the Fate ''But this is not allowed'' You will get punished and sendt to the Mirror of Ray. But the boy knew about this but he didn't care he wanted him to live instead because he hade dreams of his dad trapped in the mirror and became bad ''The Fate can only send peoples in the mirror''. No one can escape from the mirror from the inside only the outsiders can help them.

And now the 2 girls and the 1 boy are now traveling around the world they are living in to search for 6 special glowing stones that contains a soul inside to put in the empty spots on the mirror on the frame to open the gateway, but along the way the evil forces are also searching for the stones, they want to let loos the evil creature in the mirror that was prisone from the good world because he was causing death along the peoples.

And the end of the story the Evil creature came out of the mirror and kills everyone. And everyone got trapped inside the mirror is world.

I agree. I'd like to see a nice tragic ending. I can only handle so many sappy endings before I chuck. I want to see something more like FFT (but without quite so much of the ambiguity) where the big baddie gets stomped on and the world is saved, but not without some price. They all don't live happily ever after.
