Hi ! I didn't see this here. Its the Sonic the Hedgehog 25th anniversary Original Sound Track which was released this year on June 22.
I got this CD for my birthday about a month ago. Only had a chance to rip this after I got back from a holiday, and I almost forgot about sharing it here. Silly me.

Tracklist is pretty much generic usual compilation recordings; except for a few new tracks and a couple of other nice surprises). I have the version with the DVD too.

The files have been converted in to AAC for best surviving quality and are in m4a files which are usually recognized by both Mac and Windows platforms these days.
I'm not too strict on how you guys share this or what you convert it into.
But most importantly have fun!
The Sonic Adventure 1 songs are unfortunately the lame 2011 edited remasters and not the full originals, but I guess they had to fit 50 tracks over 2 CDs somehow.
Most vocal songs are the short opening versions except for where otherwise noted
This CD does not contain any remixes from Sonic Adventure Music Experience. But it's a good collection if you want to stay updated.

CD Scans are up! See top of post. In the mean time I have also written a review of the soundtrack on SOAH City, which you can check out here; and also showed new information about the DVD. [No subtitles, but audio cutscenes are in English and it's in region 0 so it will play on all regions]
I can't scan the two posters that are included with the CD because they are too big and don't fit on my scanner. Sorry !

A new game has been announced by Iizuka but no details given yet. Pretty sure it's a mainline game.

There is one confirmed for release in 2017 that will be a new standalone game so probably won't be based on the Sonic Boom series and would get back to original Sonic

I know that's what's weird about it.
But everyone wants this other announcement to be a 25th anniversary sonic game. That's what everyone is expecting anyway. I don't see what else the "Big Announcement" would be.
So far sega have not missed an anniversary to release a game, for example, Sonic Adventue 2 in 2001 (10th anniversary) Sonic 06 and Sonic Riders (15th anniversary) and Sonic Generations (20th Anniversary)
We may still be lucky this year !

m4a is a better format, since the frequencies are less compressed, thus sounding better.

Sorry I prefer m4a because of better quality. If I ripped it in mp3 version the sound would be noticeably decreased if files aren't in m4a. you'd notice a difference mp3s would sound worse. m4a is kept pretty much the same quality from the CD.

Dude, it's a bad idea. Converting from .m4a to .mp3 WILL make it sound worse. I could show you visible proof, but I need to go somewhere.

I'll convert it, since I have the .flac files to make sure it still sounds fine.

Thanks for the scans.. but it's not complete.. there wasn't a booklet included with the release? That's weird.. what you've scanned is all that you CAN scan and exists? Without couting the posters?
