I'm on Disc 4 (I've beaten Ultimecia and watched the ending many times). I have the Ragnorok, but is there any way I can get to Balamb Garden??

I may be wrong but I don't think there is a way to get to it,maybe it's still around FH but I don't think so, I absolutely HATED disc four it ruined the whole game. :-(

Nah you can't get back there, only the ruins/temple areas are open (Centra Ruins, Deep Sea Research).

Yeah, sorry, Balamb Garden is gone now. You have to complete your business there in Disc 3.

It really sucked that you can't really do much on disc four in terms of visting towns and such.... Like OmegaWeapon said, the game was ruined a bit because of the limitations. I guess it had to do with *SPOILER* time compression and the fact that Squall and the others couldn't interfere with the future...

I think it was because they couldn't fit too much onto one disc, so they had to cut quite a bit.

.......Or that could be it! *watches as her super-uber theory is flushed down the toilet*

I always figured it was to do with time compression... since the past, the present and the future's all smushed together, (allegedly!) the towns shouldn't exist, exist, and be further developed all at the same time... what annoyed me the most though, is that Esthar's exactly the same from the outside... oh, and the stupid-ass blue holographic rings that surround everywhere were also kind of annoying.
