This really has been bothering me lately... Please hear me out!
There were no sequels to any Final Fantasy game until the release of X-2, which was a direct sequel to X. Then came VII's slew of sequels, prequels, and the like... A lot of people thought that it was horrible idea to create them. I myself was never too keen on the idea of Square deciding our favorite characters' fates in the future... I always believed it should be up to the fans' minds to decide. Then came the infamous XII. Yes, XII... It's not supposed to be a sequel, right? It's the first game in years that would actually portray a new story! NOT! Most of you, I am assuming, have played Tactics. It takes place in the world of Ivalice. IVALICE. Um, isn't XII supposed to be in Ivalice!? XII even has the same prologue, same world setting, and most of the crew that produced/created the original FFT. WTF? Is Final Fantasy XII really a sequel after all? You decide...
:erm: ......Any of you guys see where I'm coming from?
