Here is all of the music from the new LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens game (https://mega.nz/#!TA0H3BiC!PXE3qNf-J_AavCjo9VjpWZ3qXQ16oeFNcauANPiTei4). There are no conversions, these are the files as extracted from the game's .dat file.
The unreleased music that I have identified (There may be more): MX_HUBFALCON - "You're Han Solo"
CS_LEVEL11_MIDTRO1_MUS / MX_JABBAFLOW - Jabba Flow (Film Version)
MX_DOBRADOOMBA - Dobra Doomba

Cool, thanks! I'll have to download laer and take a good look through. At least we know they had access to the sessions (there was a few pieces in the ROTJ level that were only available through the 1997 SEs that sounded 'cleaner' than they do on those sets too)

Every piece of film-score audio in there is from the sessions.

If they didn't exist there wouldn't be any music.

I doubt that. There's quite a few instances of album track material.

The Jakku mission. The backing is quite clearly from the album version of "Attack On The Jakku Village" right down to the microedits.

I'm being facetious. In a sense. Everything came from sessions at one point. So you could call it an edited version of the sessions, you could call it an album mix, you could call it whatever you want, really, depends on your description of what the word 'sessions' means. Since there isn't really a written-in-stone definition for the word.. Yes there is unreleased music/original session music in here and there is album edited/edited sessions music in here. Who cares lol.. just enjoy the music for what it is.

MP3 versin please??

There's no point, there would be a loss of quality in converting the files, and I've presented them as the original files from the game's data for the best quality possible. If you want an mp3 version just download and covert it yourself.

Has anyone done a comparison on these tracks compared to the soundtracks? I'm listening to the Rancor track from Jedi right now (I converted it from OGG to M4a, and am running it through Audirvana on my Mac), and they're 24 depth and they sound fantastic.

I'd be very surprised if these OGG files were natively 24-bit.

the track MX_01_EWOKBATTLE restores an film version transition that has never been released and was considered lost. It seems pretty likely they had access to source materials that were not available for the Special Edition releases. Anyone could easily take the 3 second transition (which isn't best quality) and add it to a Anthology or other clean version of The Ewok Battle for a film-accurate version.

Clearly these tracks need a scholarly sifting through. There are about a million versions of Rey's Theme on this, so that'll be a headache.

The track CS_LEVEL15_INTRO_MUS has a VERY interesting version of the Force Theme about 12 seconds in. I'm guessing it's a Lego addition!

---------- Post added at 09:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:03 PM ----------

On the 24 Bit Thing above, I ran my CD tracks against these through Audirvana, and these sound better than the CDs.

Also, hidden away in the Sound Effects folder are the "Jedi" Ewok Horns that are heard right before "Funeral Pyre For A Jedi". You could argue that they're sound effects, but...hey. They're in there!

What are you talking about? Both are available on the SE releases, and the quality of both indicates that's where these are sourced from.

My B. I mistook the transition as the long-lost one. And I didn't remember that the transition for the Rancor battle is in the SE. I guess it was wishful thinking combined with the fact that I only listen to the anthology ;)

I still want that transition. And a film-version of The Emperor Arrives.

it would be pretty cool if we could identify and extract any and all missing music from force awakens and appropriately insert it into the self-made expanded sets already available here. I'll see what I can comb out.

Nice one! Offline unfortunately... Can you tell me what software you used to extract those files? I'd like to have a look for myself. Thanks anyway :)

EDIT: I've found what I needed. For those who might need to do the same, I used quickbms from Luigi Auriemma ( http://aluigi.altervista.org/quickbms.htm ) with a script specially developed for Traveller's Tales Games ( http://aluigi.altervista.org/bms/ttgames.bms ). Enjoy ;)

Let us know what you find!

Pretty much anything Star Wars (and more) you might be looking for actually! Various lightsabers sounds, lots of ships, blasters, classical FX (Forest sounds, water, fire, wind, sand, snow, explosions...), various audio cues, characteristic sounds of iconic characters (R2-D2 or BB-8 blips, Vader's breathing...). I was pretty amazed to find all that stuff. Pretty nice quality too, always appreciable! DLCs add a bit of stuff, such as the Republic Gunship sounds or Vulture Droids sounds ;)

Is the Death Star Detention Cell Block ambience in there?

You can hear what I am talking about at 1:13 of this video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wtoHjGWc2s8

Zakabuzz

Well I just checked some of the ambient sound files and though the names do not specify that ambience I'd say the Death Star Throne Room even the Millenium Falcon with a small bit of trickery would fit. The first one's very close from what I hear. Not a perfect one unfortunately. Have you taken a look at LEGO Star Wars The Complete Edition, there's a much higher chance to find it there ;)

Faleel
04-20-2017, 07:03 PM
Well, I heard it in the Ackbar rescue cutscene, and I believe the cutscenes have the elements presented seperately.

Zakabuzz
04-20-2017, 07:14 PM
You remember the name of the mission ? Poe's Rescue ?

EDIT : So it's been used as a Starkiller Base sound ? Cause there's one that might fit but there's some chatter here and there.

Faleel
04-20-2017, 07:20 PM
Yeah, Poe to the Rescue.

If I were to describe the sound I am looking for I would say it has a echoey watery bubbly sound, almost like filling a cup of ice with some kind of drink.

Zakabuzz
04-20-2017, 07:56 PM
I hope we're thinking the same cause I would have never described it like that! More of a humming with some highly pitched notes... You do mean the ambient sound in the background, right? :)

Faleel
04-20-2017, 08:32 PM
It sounds like this:

https://mega.nz/#!xpU02Qib!Tjl1sjTYYty3RO4UFs7bdWBtsuLmSueMNxR-UcgZUDg

This is a rough rip from the SW Radio Drama.

Zakabuzz
04-21-2017, 09:45 AM
Ok that's the one I was thinking of ! Concerning the cutscenes they actually do not have separated elements. Some videos are pre-rendered, some are real time but audio have been prebuilt by the devs, with all the mixing already done. The game does not look for each sound to play it, it just plays the track the devs created for the cutscene including voices, effects and music...

EDIT : Well it seems not. My previous digging left me that feeling but it seems I was wrong. I'll have another look, see if I can find what you're looking for ;) (Though I do recommend you trying my suggestion, the script extracts the files nice and easy!)
