Enjoy.

This is a preview rip from Pandora. It can now be listened outside of the US too.
Seems to be the best season musically.

The preview does not include the bonus tracks. Official release is in a few days. M4A format

This is definitely the best season, both musically and overall. I listened on Pandora Premiere last night. I was loving it.

Probably because the show-runners are no longer tied to the books. They are making their own map of the world.

Pretty sure they could have went away from the books at any point, but decided not to. Also Martin, the author, is an executive producer of the show, so..............

lol.

You can listen to all 19 tracks in full on Pandora (http://www.pandora.com/station/play/3204993760511516632) now which can easily be accessed outside of the US with the right browser extension.

No kidding. But Benioff and Weiss have exhausted all the books and Winds of Winter, the next book, has yet to be published. And the series had to eliminate characters - doubt we'll ever see Lady Stoneheart, but there's one episode left, so who knows? - or trim characters' backstories. (There was much more to the Waif than just being Arya's tormentor.)

Martin, Benioff and Weiss plotted out the end of the series but with no books the show-runners are no longer tethered to event's as written by Martin. They don't have to pad the narrative to hit certain beats. This season has moved at a much quicker pace than previous ones for that reason. And it's why the last two seasons will be shorter, 6 or 7 episodes apiece.

GoT changed the fantasy genre for the better, adding dirt, grit, blood, sweat and tears to the mix.

What? No Lannister march on Riverrun? No Tommen accepts the faith? Those were the best cues in the entire season. Hopefully some recording sessions will get leaked. That or they'll be in the bonus tracks.

There are also a bunch of S5 Stannis tracks on Youtube. All of the 'Stannis in Castle Black' cues, along with a few of the 'Stannis about to assault Winterfell' ones.

I really loved the classic Baratheon theme variation that played during the Tommen/Faith scenes and specifically the one where he comes out of the Sept so I hope we get that at some point.

I believe the bonus track Service of the Gods could be from Tommen and the Faith. Shame about the march; there's rips on YouTube here (https://youtu.be/ZdTneDCikgQ) and here (https://youtu.be/0m8jA-3cCyc) for now.

Yeah, I'm genuinely kind of mad that the Lannister march wasn't released. Ever since I first heard the theme I've thought it would sound amazing as a brass-heavy military march, and when Ramin finally writes one, it doesn't get released. -_- I suppose there's a tiny bit of hope that it could be in the bonus track "I Need You By My Side" (possibly referring to Jaime and Cersei), but I'm guessing it's more likely when Dany sends Jorah to find the cure. The Bolton theme when Ramsay killed Roose was really great too, I was really hoping that would be in "Feed the Hounds". Hopefully Tommen accepting the Faith will be in "Service of the Gods", I really liked the Baratheon theme in that. Praying the recording sessions will be leaked soon enough.

Well if it doesn't get released, maybe best we could do is a mash up of those two siege tracks to have the Lannister march bits of them alone? And yeah, bonus tracks and recording sessions are my hope right now. Since S5 had some, I'm guessing there might be some for S6 now too.

Out of the names of the bonus tracks, we can at least confirm that Lord of Light is most likely some Stannis/Melisandre/R'hllor theme compilation and then there's Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken which is probably Martell/Sand Snakes.

are you sure those werent just taken from the partial sessions?

and Hear Me Roar probably made people decide we didnt need the Lannister march theme as well
They can only put so much music on there, and we got more this year than ever before (though I do wish we got less endcredit arrangements and more music from the actual show)

It's weird. The previous scores only had a few good tracks and Ramin his work usually sounds a bit dry and empty.

With this season it seems he went to composer school. The production sounds way more lush and the compositions are far more original and well orchestrated. My favorite season so far.

Haven't compared them.

As for Hear me Roar, it really isn't as good as the Lannister march. I think we've gotten enough 'Lannister blues' music about Cersei's laments in King's Landing, even in last Season's unused Atonement track. The last triumphant Lannister piece we had was Two Swords.

Also yeah, Red Woman wasn't really necessary to be put on there. Hell, the rips we got of it when the Episode first aired were pretty clear as it was. I'm wondering how Lord of Light will sound now, since I originally expected it to be the Red Woman ending/Kinvara scenes/Jon resurrection suite.

Thanks for the share. It's nice to get a taste of what's to come on Friday.

I actually think this season is the worst it's ever been. The showrunners may claim that they've bypassed the books, but so much of this season is either wheelspinning that goes nowhere (King's Landing, Meereen, Braavos) or a plots that they previously skipped (Riverrun, Ironborn, swapping out Stannis' Winterfell campaign for Jon Snow's). The only problem is they're butchering the characters and their arcs, and instead replacing book dialogue with their own "original" dribble. There's no more punch left to the story, and the "shocks" are so telegraphed that I don't see how anyone could be surprised anymore. The whole point of the series was to subvert genre expectations, to be as realistic as possible, but instead the show now caters to those very cliches that it set out to mock. Even the acting (which wasn't always the best, but was usually strong overall) has diminished. It's like the actors don't even try anymore, it's just a paycheck.

I'm basically just hate watching it now. Any hope I had that the show would be good once again has long since left me.

The Baratheon/Faith/Tyrell theme mix is in fact in the soundtrack now. It's the bonus track Service of the Gods. Lord of Light is Jon's resurrection and has the Beric vs Hound fight at the end of it from way back. Need You By My Side is the Dany/Jorah music as expected.
