Yeah, I'm looking forward to this anniversary CD a lot more than the 20th's one. The selection seems much more varied and overall more interesting. Although it could have used more Sonic R tracks. Can You Feel The Sunshine? is great, but there's a reason Work It Out has been remixed to death :p

Looking at the same tracklist (http://sonic.sega.jp/SonicChannel/topics/sound/20160610_001059/) from the official Sonic website in Japan, it's pretty much what we're getting in this soundtrack.

Here's hoping for a official Sonic 3 & Knuckles soundtrack someday.

It has been over a week and I want to know if anyone has uploaded the soundtrack.

All I found was the DVD in a supposed unofficial rip of the soundtrack (the date modified on the tracks were all in 2015, which seems fishy, considering the soundtrack was released in 2016).

Also, the only real value of this set is for the Sonic Runners and Sonic Boom track. Though it's well chosen compilation for a newcomer, I'll give it that.

It's easy for one to believe that they'll slowly but surely release all tracks that aren't plagued by copyright. It's why there hasn't been a proper remaster and release of it.

This is always something I've wondered too. Whenever I look into the American side of the S3/S&K sound team, they always seem very eager to work with Sega, even going as far as to respect decades-old privacy practices in reference to speaking on the game's development. I don't have specific names now, but I doubt they're the problem. But I'm speaking off the top of my head right now, I could be in the wrong on a composer or two.

And, not to contradict my own point, but now that I'm thinking about it... (and not to generalize) but Japanese composers are usually much more universally willing to work with former employers or new labels to have their work re-released. I could totally see more American composers having some odd problem with the company and essentially saying "I'm never talking to them and I'm keeping this philosophy for years." Worst case scenario, but the S3/S&K team were also a really eclectic bunch, so who knows...

I need to go through some interviews.
