I don't tend to buy albums as a rule, as I have an extremely varied taste in music and tend to just buy singles. So I wasn't expecting to have any of those albums. But I do have one. What's the story by Oasis.

I own a few. Most of them are actually pretty decent. (Bar Comabt Rock, but that's not worth talking about =/) He actually has pretty bad taste!

Oh wait, remove.
Shit.
What the fuck, that is a stupid list.

funniest ones !

Nick Cave - The Boatman's Call
Just about any post-Birthday Party Cave belongs on this list. Pompous poetics for punks who miss their college lit classes. If someone can argue that the title "Brompton Oratory" means anything more than Cave likes to sound erudite, I'm listening. The music? As hot-aired as the master's musings.

Einstrzende Neubauten - Kollaps
Der gelegentliche Hrer wrde solchen Miklang nie verstehen - und hat damit einen wichtigen Punkt, weil die Kotze auf dieser Platte eigentlich fucking unlistenable ist.

U2 - The Joshua Tree. A fantastic album
Oasis - What's the Story, Morning Glory?

What an utterly ridiculous list

I only own one of those, and that's Smash, though I do own "post-birthday party Cave" that isn't that specifically mentioned one. I'd own Dookie if I had gotten around to it by now, but back when that was popular I was in my "I only listen to The Black Album" phase, so I never bought it when the time was right.

I also find it hilarious that people always accuse Green Day of "stealing" from various different punk artists and completely ignore the East Bay punk scene the band emerged from. One listen to a Crimpshrine song and you know exactly where Green Day got their sound from. =\

Rush - Moving Pictures, a great one.
Pink Floyd- Dark Side of the moon, doesn't everyone have this?

Bigfoot

I own five of those. I know it's probably meant to piss people off, but Boo to it dissing Tom Waits - Mule Variations. That album rules. And they had the first album I bought, The Presidents of the USAs self titled.

Silly.

Pink Floyd- Dark Side of the moon, doesn't everyone have this?

Yeah and it's fucking great.

Course, I still like The Wall more.

Either way, i'm not sure if this is meant to piss people off or if the person is just that god damn arrogant.

Not too familiar with the site.

I just got rid of Nevermind. I have Sgt. Pepper and Lonely Hearts, and how could he hate Pearl Jam.....

I don't own any of them, I'm quite surprised! He hit it on the nail with 13 Songs, Nevermind and What's The Story...., down with straight-edge, grunge and boring guitar-rock!

Fugazi is straight-edge? Okay.

I've never heard straight-edge anywhere apart from when cassie tries to tell me I'm not HIP AND W/ IT.

Oh, I do. Sometimes I go hardcore, and I elbow people and make them bleed.

Don't you? I thought everybody did.

I always assumed they were anyway.

Even Minor Threat wasn't really "straight edge," Ian MacKaye didn't invent that term to turn it into a subculture and never had any intention of kicking it off. He doesn't like being associated with it. And Fugazi literally has nothing in common with Minor Threat except a couple (I think) of members, so there's really not much of a case for it. He doesn't drink or do drugs... like millions of other people.

That said, I think straight-edge is great personally. :)

how amazingly predictive, another one of those i'm so underground i hate everything that's even brushed the borders of mainstream people, he probably hates donnie darko

If you were reffering to me you are rather wrong. I'm hardly underground, as for Donnie Darko I havn't seen it so I couldn't say if it sucks or not. And Terry, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with not doing drink and drugs, I don't, I just don't see why they have to make it into a bloody cult.

Well God and Jesus didn't start Christianity but is it essentailly down to them? Pretty much.:)

I own a few. I'm pretty fond of all of them too.

Most of his comments are pretty warranted, but some were a little off.

The Ben Folds was was kind of weird, because I've never thought of Ben Folds as that deep at all. I thought that was one of the reasons why people liked his music. =/
