This is Jonah. I've been unable to recover my original account here, so I made a new one. Obviously, I can't edit my other account's posts, so I'm just gonna make a new thread. I hope that's OK.

Anyways, a bunch of people already downloaded my compilation of Undertale music variations. This version is a new version! Changelog below.

Undertale: Your Best Companion Soundtrack (v1.91)

CHANGELOG:

- Added Its Showtime! (King Mettaton Ending Ver.), and shifted Alphys (Date Ver.), Alphys (Swoon Ver.) NGAHHH!! (Anime Is Real Ver.), Home (Music Box) (Videotape Ver.), Memory (Asriel Ver.) and Start Menu (Post-Pacifist Ver.) down 1 track to make room for it

Disclaimer: All music contained in these downloads was composed and arranged by Toby Fox. This soundtrack is meant as a supplement to the actual Undertale soundtrack, and therefore does not contain the versions of the songs that are on the actual Undertale soundtrack. Those can be bought on the official Undertale soundtrack site (https://tobyfox.bandcamp.com/album/undertale-soundtrack). I am not Toby Fox, nor am I affiliated in any way with Toby Fox (besides being a huge fan of his).

ORIGINAL POST BELOW (taken from here (Thread 200526)):

Announcing, the release of...the Undertale: Your Best Companion Soundtrack, a completely unofficial supplemental soundtrack to that one game everyone is always talking about!

Heres what this is. Do you know how awesome the official Undertale soundtrack is? But as great as it is, its also incomplete. Theres some songs and jingles in the game that dont appear on it. Theres some songs that do appear on it, but play differently in-game, or have multiple variations. Theres about four fifths of the Genocide run soundtrack (which admittedly, is mostly slowed down versions of songs that ARE on the soundtrack). Theres unused, dummied out tracks. (Side note: Ive always found it amusing that on the official soundtrack, Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans is a dummied out song, but Dummy! isnt.)

Theres...Mettaton EX saying Oh yessssssssssssss.

...

...ANYWAYS.

Undertale: Your Best Companion Soundtrack is a supplemental soundtrack consisting of seven parts:

-In-game versions of soundtrack songs (where applicable - basically, if a song plays differently in-game than on the soundtrack)

-Variations (Songs that, while having their soundtrack versions play in-game, also have other non-soundtrack versions play in-game; Genocide variations not included)

-Non-soundtrack songs (songs that play in-game but arent on the soundtrack; also short songs and jingles that have fuller versions on the soundtrack, but arent on the soundtrack themselves)

-Genocide (Variations not included on disc 2, as well as any songs that play during a Genocide run that arent on the soundtrack)

-Sound effects (Sound effects and jingles)

-Unused (Unused and dummied out songs that can only be played by hacking the game or digging into the games files)

-Misc (everything else, including a few tracks that I tinkered with to show cool stuff about them)

Do you want to download this? OF COURSE YOU DO. You wouldnt want to miss out on a chance like this, would you...best friend?

I don't have FLAC tracks to begin with, though I could theoretically just redownload the soundtrack in FLAC if I thought it was at all worth it, and even if I did I'm not sure if editing them would fuck up the quality, so no. Also what would be the point with most of the tracks? The latest batch of unreleased songs, for example, were uploaded by Toby to his Tumblr in mp3 192 kbps, so making it FLAC isn't gonna bump up the quality, or anything but the file size.

Also if anyone has any suggestions as to what to add to the next edition of this, feel free to speak up! I've already got two additions lined up and waiting: the version of "Memory" that plays in Waterfall when you have the flashback right before you wake up in the garbage dump, and the Genocide version of "The Choice". There's probably other variants of songs that I've missed, too, so if you see something missing, don't be shy!

With Halloween coming up soon, I figured I might as well release v1.666. A few minor things, and the two additions mentioned in my last post. Links updated in first post, as well.

Good suggestion! I'll include both parts of the track "Undertale" separately in my next update to this.

This also seems to be missing the in-game version of core as per http://undertale.wikia.com/wiki/CORE_(Soundtrack)
>The in-game version of this song is played at a higher pitch (lower-pitched in the Genocide Route) than the soundtrack version. It also plays at .5 speed.

Version 1.8 out! Includes Northbayfan001's and Mariomon12345's suggestions. Enjoy!

Why am I not able to download the old links? The new ones only include the new songs and it's missing all the normal speed songs and battle themes.

There's nothing I can think of that was in the old links that I completely took out. The "normal speed songs" are all on the official soundtrack. This is meant to be merely a supplemental soundtrack to that, something that fills in the gaps on the official soundtrack without providing the soundtrack itself. After all, the official soundtrack can be easily obtained at https://tobyfox.bandcamp.com/album/undertale-soundtrack for 9.99, if you want it. I'm sure there's plenty of people distributing it for free, both on this forum and elsewhere, but I'm not one of them, nor do I intend to be.

Anyways, updated to version 1.9. Not sure what else I can add to this, so this might end up being the final version.

Oh shit, I forgot to upload the latest version here.

Added a version of "It's Showtime!" from one of the neutral endings. I've updated the links in the first post. Aaaaaand, that should be everything, unless I missed something AGAIN. If you think I have indeed missed something again, feel free to post about it in this thread.

Happy listening!
