I will begin from the start. Today I wonder into the local gaming store by my place of employment and sitting on the used software rack was a copy of FF11! What luck a used copy of Final Fanasty 11! So I purchased and installed it and the PlayOnline Viewer, but as I am going thourgh the registartion process, it says that my PlayOnline reg code is invaild, please go back and re-enter it. My question is if a copy has been registered once, will it not let itself be re-reg on a new machine, or do I have to try and see if the username and password that was written in the manual works (I have tried using the PlayOnline ID and password in diffrent forms and that tells me invaild ID or password.) Any help with this situation is much apperciated!

Once a PlayOnline Activation Key is used, it is bound to a Credit Card account. Because the person who bought it and traded it in probably used it already, it is useless. The PlayOnline ID also expires when it has been disabled for more then 3 months.

Unfortunately, all I can tell you is that you can try to enter the PlayOnline ID and Password and try to log in. If it doesn't work, you have pretty much have been ripped off.

A general rule for anything is that if the game features an online element with a CD/activation that needs to be entered, DO NOT buy it used.

1 thing that can be very idiot too but can be forgotten is that the reg key is case sensitive.

So all letter must be Capitals letters

i must say that the activation key is not bound to the credit card as long as the previous ower has canceled there account because when you re-activate it within 3 months you have to put you r details again. bearing in mind the old owner may still be playing it as the game doesnt need the disk to run.
