Easily the most disappointing composer choice possible.

David Arnold was not even asked to score this. Kloser is a producer of the film and has been producing, writing and scoring many of Roland Emmerich's movies since the Emmerich/Devlin/Arnold split. Guess it wasn't even a consideration to ask Arnold.

At the very least, Kloser did say on Facebook that Arnold's main theme would be in the film. It's probably that "ID4 Reprise" track.

but still hope this score could inherit some fabulous themes from David Arnold's

and the digital release would be earlier
