I just wanted to let everybody know that, in these threads where I originally posted Surround Sound recordings...
Beethoven 5th/7th Symphonies - Kleiber/Vienna (Thread 204071)
Mahler 2nd Symphony - Kaplan/Vienna (Thread 204165)
Respighi Roman Trilogy - Neschling/So Paulo (Thread 203757)
Mahler 9th Symphony - Chailly/Amsterdam (Thread 199833)
Mahler 3rd Symphony/Bach Suite - Chailly/Amsterdam (Thread 199897)
...I have now also added 2-channel (stereo) versions in hi-def sound (96kHz/24-bit), for those of you who don't have Surround Sound setups at home.
(And in the future, when I post additional Surround Sound recordings, I'll also provide a 2-channel version if there's one available.)
I've also re-mastered the Surround Sound recordings with somewhat better quality (since I've had a little more practice), so those of you who downloaded the Surround Sound versions might want to get them again.
Be watching for the complete symphonies of Shostakovich with Kitajenko/Cologne in Surround Sound, as well as the complete "Mahler Project" of Michael Tilson Thomas/San Francisco Symphony, also in Surround Sound, the complete symphonies of Beethoven with Haitink/London Symphony Orchestra in Surround Sound and a few other things that I'm also working on.
Happy listening. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42753709/Photobucket/music.gif
