Alien: Out of the Shadows - An Audible Original Drama

Director Dirk Maggs peppers the narration with frantic sound effects and uses sound design to turn the narration into something more than just a straight read-through. "Working on such a famous franchise was a challenge, but an amazing one to have," said Hauer in a statement. "It was fascinating to focus on just how powerful the voice can be for such a unique, non-human character like Ash. I don't know where to put this, and if there's an demand, but here I go. This is the audio dramatization of Tim Lebbon's 2014 novel Alien: Out of the Shadows. The story takes place between the events of Alien and Aliens, and follows a mining engineer who has to take on aliens and a rogue AI. With a movie like atmosphere, great acting, music and SFX, this is a must-read (ehm, must-listen). Enjoy!
