Ive only played a few FF games, but my favorite so far is probly FFX.

First of all, this thread is totally unnecessary and stupid. And the fact that there is no actual poll for us to vote is even more idiotic.

7 or 8 hard to decide cus there is such an evolution between both games, both great story lines though, probably 7

FFIX was the best or FFVI, its close.

FF8, 7 are tied...their the best..

what? you will have to elaborate on that one. 2,3,4,and 6 where four different videogames ....hell, 4,5, and 6 came out on the super famicom. the list is accurate

oh, and i will have to agree with FF1withallthieves...final fantasy 1 was the best. before FF1 i was forced to play dragon worrior...squaresoft before FF1 was the maker of "RAD RACER"...i was almost tempted not to play FF1 at all, but thankfully fate made me buy it.

lol, but this makes you unable to connect to the characters cuz in ff1...its jus theif instead of sayin zidane, or white mage instead of garnet...at least this way yur able to connect with the character on a more personal level, thus able to get into the game more.

Then I will. FF7 had one of the best stories, the best characters, the best battle system, the best magic system, and more chocobos than you can shake a stick at. Final Fantasy VII ROCKS!!!!!
