You couldn't really have seen them live. If there's no Jello, it's not the Dead Kennedys.

jello's spoken word albums are the greatest thing sine the invention of jello itself!

to be honest, i'm not that fond of the edible sort of jello, but i thought that sounded snazzy-ish.

Also, the last album I bought was the two-disc Simon and Garfunkle's greatest hits thing.

I'm another DK fan, though I'm yet to own any albums. I've heard a fair few songs via mp3 and radio though and liked just about all of it, so they're on my list. Also, I have a friend who pretty much only listens to classical, orchestral music, except he really likes Dead Kennedys and MDC, which I find awesome.

This thread actually makes it seem nearly everyone here has really good taste in music, imo.

Of course I know who Jello Biafra is!! He has the coolest, most acid voice I have ever heard!

No, you are right about the whole no Jello, no Dead Kennedys, but East Bay Ray and Klaus are still pretty damn cool.

How would those two go, "Too druck to fuck" would be more suitable.

Anyway, Jello is great, he has a cool voice, and he gets amazingly involved with the crowd.
But I still think that East Bay and Klaus are cool - oh and Jeff Penalty, who was just randomly stage diving along with two others which I found quite amusing.

I don't know who deathbringer is, so I can't really comment on that =\

TK
02-04-2005, 11:34 PM
deathbringer was a member here MANY years ago, back when MasterCloud was the webmaster. He was quite a character.

East Bay Ray and Klaus aren't cool. They got angry because of a mistake in paying them royalties, then after Jello fixed it and paid them the money they were owed they turned around and sued him, stole the rights to the songs he wrote, and went on bogus "reunion" tours with some hack in Jello's place. This is all while trying to convince him to go on the reunion tours with them so that they would make more money.

I haven't bought an album for a while, I think the last one was Tori Amos "Confessions of a Librarian." I had bought it for a friend cause she was a huge Tori fan and didn't have a car so she couldnt get out to get it. I went out and bought it for her and then she told me she got her boyfriend to pick it up for her, and she told me to keep it instead of taking it back. I hadn't listened to Tori much, so I kept it and ended up really digging it.

The last album I downloaded was mc chris "Life's a Bitch and I'm Her Pimp." (http://67.18.79.2/lab/) He's the guy who played MC Pee Pants on ATHF, the albums old, but it's pretty fun to listen to. Especially the Boba Fett song.
