Pretty please! Yes.

Edit;

Link received. What a difference it has made in this 1937 recording,which doesn't sound like a 1937 recording.

Well done,Sir!

Could I have the link, please ? I like the 1937 version as well as the 1952 version (Ronald Colman & Stewart Granger are superb in the main part, and excellent playing by the other actors). Alfred Newman reused his 1937 score for the late version, which is a good idea when it's such excellent. I'd like very much to possess this stereo version !

Thanks a lot for the music. After hearing the Main Title, I realized that this is not the original soundtrack recording! No wonder why it doesn't sound like a 1937 recording. I have this exact recording on a United Artists stereo LP. It was performed by LeRoy Holmes and his orchestra and was recorded in the mid-1970s. Holmes' orchestra consisted of no more than 25 musicians and sounds somewhat anemic. The German label Membran states nowhere that this a re-recording; however, it definitely is! I really appreciate your other stereo 24 bit conversions of original soundtracks. It's too bad that we're led to believe that this was an original recording. Take Care and keep up the good work....

PMs sent...that's useful information, as I was wondering why it sounded so full, but shrouded in reverb...it's I shame I spent so much time on what isn't the OST...if anyones got the original score, I'll give it a try!

Mark, this is unlikely to happen.
Master tapes do not survive for Newman's 1937 recording.

AsteroidSmasher, if you have the United Artists LA 374-G (1975) edition,
you must know that the German label Membran reissued the same recording.

Petros: No, I didn't realize this was a reissue of the Holmes' recording until I started to listen to it. Nowhere does Membran list the conductor or that it is a reissue, at least to the best of my knowledge. The cover image is identical to the LP, but it's just a replica of the old movie poster. The good performance of the score is handicapped by the undernourished orchestra. After going through all the work associated with a new recording of the score, United Artists sabotaged it by budgeting very little for the orchestra.

Membran just mentions in the booklet that Paul Swin (Swain) is the orchestrator.
