um, Evrae...?

I heard something about give it a phoenix down or something.

who is it and when do you fight him

Have Auron use Armour Break, Wakka use Dark Buster and cast Slow on it (it may take a few turns as it has 50% resistance). Heal with an Al Bhed potion if your HP starts getting low. If you're fighting from afar, use Wakka and Lulu's second level spells. Pull back when it inhales. Use Cid's missle attack too. Once it get's into Haste, use Delay attack. Your character's should be in haste too.

There's a few disjointed tips that should help a bit.

You should use the starategy used above.Also,the main focus is to not get discouraged after one loss if you lose because Evrae is highly resistant to status ailing attacks so you basically have to break it down with the bigger hitters.Good luck =)

For the protector of Bevelle he did not seem that strong.

so that's that when you get to bevelle you will get him underwater when they try to kill you then you use 2 phoenix down on him tell you something you can use
phoenix down on any monster who has zombie status, like when you get a strong monster just hit him with zombie attack if it works use phoenix down on it or curaga

its funny i never had trouble with evrae its a fight ive actually fully forgotten about becuas eif ound it really basic. i'll never forget his second form though. so easy.

Hard if u dont train. VERY easy if u do, which i do. He was pretty crap actually. My advice would be to stay at a distance as he uses wekear moves.Oh and Hastaga owns:)

well, just train well and be lucky enough to have Cid fire the airships missilies at it. That plus giving it as many overdrive techniques as you can manage will kill it.

Yip train hard you wont have trouble with any of the bosses mwahahahaha

What are you talking about. Evrae is the dude you fight in the sky not the underwater fiend from the via perfecto. ( I think thats what it is called)

He dosn't have a second form.

Yes, there are two forms of Evrae, one is the one in the air and there's another one in the water at Via Purifico is Evrae Altana, the undead one.

Also make sure to haste your guys. especialy tidus and rikku because they need to move the airship in and out in a hurry.

this is the tips. first, you will have to use tidus,wakka,lulu only. let cid fires its missles and do overdrive. thats how i beat evrae.

fighting evrae is easy. all you have to do is to make sure lulu already learn doublecast. the battle is going to be easy like fighting nemesis

The question was asked in January. I imagine it has been a moot point for a very long time. Congratulations on wasting everyone's time.

Also, you're a bit of a dummy if you don't cycle all the characters through so they get AP.

evara that was 1 tough monster well for me i traines on the ship untill i got high eouph level to beat it well i would say cast slow on it and cast hast on tidus and rikku when evera is close to the ship use phisical attacks tidus,rikku,kinahri or auron when the monster is far away from the ship use magic attack wakka lulu. (have lot of supplies)

just cast lulu magic, tidus slice & dice, wakka attack reels,rikku mix lvl2 sphere. and you can say good bye to evrae

This fight took me 3 tries, I got lucky -.-

Lol, I was no lucky at all. FFX was my first game, I was a total newbie :/

not very hard you no.well make sure all your overdrive gauge is full, and just make sure wakka has already learn the attack reels, and tdus has the slice & dice.other than that is not very important, which evrae has only about 80.000 hp.

i wrote accordingly to japan version not us . but the hp is still the same right.
coz japan version , the monster is a lot easier.
