Ok I haven't been able to find a PSO thread so I figured I'd start one. (if there is already one sorry).

This is mainly for people who play the game to talk, get advice, and things like that.

So not like, you give your opinion, what you think of the game, what you (dis)like etc?

It can be that too. but I mainly started it for people to give advice, get help and talk about the game becuase i saw no threads for it.

I had ver1+2 on the dreamcast but the servers closed years ago. they were good games for their time and my only real experience of online gaming

You know they made it for GC and it is VER1 and VER2 with an episode 2.

I played PSO Episode 1 and 2 and... they really messed up when it became extremely easy to dupe items. So eventually, there was no such thing as rare items because everyone had one.

Episode 3 I haven't played online but I sold my copy because I didn't like it and I got FFXI instead.

rare items sucked, everything i traded for was +99 and blatantly duped. it really pissed me off cos' i traded real rares for them sometimes.

what also got annoying was people using gamesharks so they could use magic on other players or steal from your bank. i got a genuine heavens punisher(one of the rarest hunter weapons) stolen by some guy who killed me.

Yeah that does suck u just gotta be able to spot the hacks and dupes.

Hey is anyone else here psyched about PSO Universes?

im not sure what that is, i saw a trailor but it didn't explain much since it was just a cutscene

its basically PSO 2 or PSO Ep 4 with more quests, better graphics and so on and supposedly you can upload your characters from ep 1 and 2 into it.

im guessing its on GC and Xbox which kinda sucks since i have 4 characters on the dreamcast versions

Episode 4 is called PSO: Blue Burst... I doubt it has anything to do with PSU though.

Anyways, I was wrong. Blue Burst is Episode 1 and 2 but Episode 4 is an expansion pack. In fact, me and Typo are going to sign up for the free trial and test it out. :3

I AM SO PISSED OF ABOUT FSODs!!!!! People need to stop doing them for there own amusement.

pso was great, except for the fact that you can only play the new episode one and two on the gamecube without going online. anyother system, like ps2, youneeded an internet conection.(plus the fact that you cant pause...)

yeah I had a lvl 200 force he was bad ass but I wish I had PSO 4 which I heard was coming soon

O yea, this game is awsome. i have a force but so far he's only lvl 11 but still cool. i still kill the-chocobo-master all the time. Yea, i know you heard me! My best character is a lvl 158 HUmar who kicks ass. Episode 4 is on PSOBB which will be the GC version but with a newly added Episode 4 and it will be for the PC.
