Who is your favorite ff villian? There's always that one special villian that you really love, even if you only "love to hate" them. I have several, including Kefka, just because he's so darn funny. So let's hear who your fav villian is and why, from all ffs, 1 through infinity!

I hate Ormi, Logos, and Leblanc.......Seymour was awesome though.

My favorite was Sephiroth becuase he looked really cool and was one of those rare and unique villians who's goal was the same as the hero's but was the extreme of that goal.
Seymour annoyed the hell out of me becuase his voice and laugh were really annoying and the way he said one just sounded hilarious. And on top of that he was an ass.

Sephiroth was a pussy, Seymour was a pansy and a pussy, Kefka on the other hand was awesome.

Did I say anything about Sephiroths toughness?

No, but you called him unique which he is not, he's just like all the other pussy villains out there.

Name another villian in final fantasy who's goal is the same as the main character just the extreme of it.

I can't cause I wouldn't consider that to be a villain, I would just consider a rival of extremes.

But he's not a rival he's still a villan becuase his choice is just as sinsiter and evil as any other villians.

mine was sephiroth, he had so much backstory. i really got into it.

His goal was the same as the heroes and yet you call him a villain?? Pitiful.

Great another Favourite villian thread. Throughout the many reoccuring threads like this it has been decided that Kefka is grewatest villian in any FF. Kefka could easily destroy them all. So could most of the other villians bfore Him. The villinas in the more recent FF's are all pussys. Just like chorns has already mentioned.

Except for Garland in FFIX. I love a good mastermind type. Someone with no complexes, psychoses, or other bullshit is what I like to see.

Cloud was emo and wanted attention so he made up that he was someone else, and Sephiroth was emo and wanted attention so he tried to become all powerful or whatever his goal was?

Kefka was memorable because he was just so funny and he'd set stuff on fire and wiggle his finger while he talked and that weird laugh "Wark Wark Wark" and his theme music makes me smile.

I like Kuja because he always maintains calm until he goes into trance and goes crazy.

I also love Kuja, he was the first villian i ever fell in love with...

I know I'm about to be chased by a mob weilding pitchforks for this comment, but Kefka always seemed more amusing than anything. I won't deny that he was twisted, though he's rather far from being my favourite villain of all time.

Out of the Final Fantasy villains, only 2 really stand out to me. Edea, and Kuja. I know what you're thinking, Edea wasn't a villain, but neither was Golbez, or Sephiroth for that matter, if the Jenova theory is true, which seems the most likely. Edea had a certain air about her, that just made her such a good villain in my opinion. The whole Deling City part of the game is what I like about her, the speech, her attempt to kill Rinhoa and how she can just kill a President in front of hundreds of people. She was definitely my favourite character in FFVIII.

Kuja from FFIX on the other hand, simply clinches it for me. The eccentricity he has, the style, the speeches he makes, though he's not without his faults. His change of heart at the end is rather disappointing, as was the boss battle against him. His deal toll is one of the highest I've seen in a FF game, if you include his manipulation of other characters.

Another worthy mention would be Rubicante, the Fiend of Fire in FFIV. Certainly an honourable opponent who I looked forward to fighting. Also reasonably challenging too, in Hardtype.

I think Edea would have been a good villian if they hadn't made her turn good and Ultimaecia sucked cause she didn't really have a whole lot to do with anything and you just didn't get attached to her. I liked Seifer and Raijin and Fujin, though>

My favourite FF villian has to be Sephiroth. He is cool, calm and confident.

Yes hes ugly hes got those bags under his eyes and he was much better in the game cgs. i love a good bishonen but he needed to be less feminen.

Seph was my fave as well. Kefka was evil, I won't deny it, but I always ended up laughing whenever he appeared, I never actually hated him.
