I've noticed that after an Aeon is KO'd in battle, a counter appears next to their name in the Aeon screen. Does anyone know what happens to them if that counter were to reach 0? I am ashamed to admit that I am to afraid to try (that and I haven't played FFX in a while).

Oh and has anyone ever reached complete max stats for any of their aeons? I remember once I uberised the magus sisters to max stats (they were the easiest as they had naturally high attributes). Passado become my favourite attack :).

i know i thought yuo would lose them if it got to zero caus eit says battles left biut what it actually is, is after that amount of battles the aeon is revived with low HP hope that helps.

I think dark atom is right, but i have a question for you...where is the counter? When you are pausing the game and in where you level 'em up and all that???

Yea, if an aeon gets knocked out in battle and you dont heal them at a save point, then a counter will appear where their HP/MP stats are in the aeon menu. The same place where you get to teach them new abilities or raise their attributes.

that just means you have to wait that many battles until they revive

There's no way your Aeons would die permanently, though my counter's never reached 0. I've also somehow managed to find a savesphere.
