Ive really only played 1 GBA game and the was The Sword of Mana. Its was ok if you leave out the dorky story line and the horrible script.

Golden Sun is a good game....its kinda challenging with all the lil puzzles you have to figure out on walls and stuff....then when you complete that you can get Golden Sun The Lost Age...

Sure, there are a lot of great GBA SP games that you should consider.

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour-It's truly awesome how this plays like an RPG, in the sense that you level up your characters the better you perform in tournaments.

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap-Yes, it's still the same old story almost. But for some reason, I am finding it very enjoyable.

Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls-This isn't just another port ladies and gentlemen. Once you finish both quests, there is a lot more additional content to play through than the other PSone port.

That's just a few to start with.

To expand on The Legend of Zelda, I would have to say:
- The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. If you have a GameCube, and any other friends with GBA's, you have the BEST multiplayer on Nintendo.

I also heard that the F-Zero series plays good on the GBA.

Don't chat in threads, Dais - use PMs, that's what they're for.

I've been having fun with Metroid Fusion on my GBA lately - i'm a late Metroid bloomer, and i've suddenly discovered this entire game series which is highly addictive. Samus has overtaken Fox McCloud as my favourite Ninty character, I think.

Yup, I agree, Fire Emblem rocks pretty hard. I played it through twice without so much as a glance at other games. Good replay value, cute characters, fluent dialogue, goofy battle animations (wow, I didn't know a knight could charge THAT way).

Plus, the end dialogue is forever etched in my mind. It was, in its own twisted out-of-the-context way, ingenious.

Hey, don't forget Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced.

Tactics Advanced blows, seriously.

Anyway, with such a large selection of games for the GBA it's too bad most of them suck so bad. Horrible ports, not enough unique games, unique games that arent made well at all...

The Golden Sun series is about the best thing on the GBA. Most of the other decent games have been montioned here. Megaman games are always decent for handhelds, but not exacrlt the deepest games in the world. Tetris Worlds is decent.

I dunno, I was disappointed by the games on GBA...

Yup.

Game I played most on GBA was Suikoden Card Stories.
NInja Five-O is good. Mario & Luigi Superstar saga is pretty good.

I'm thinking of getting the famicom tantei club rereleases. Nothing on my GBA horizon beyond that.

You fucking WHAT? Tactics advanced is awesome, and has a fair few hours in it. I feel like playing through it again. There's a point at first where it's a little hard and boring, but eventually you can really have a great time in it.

I dunno, I just didn't dig it at all.. the gameplay was really fun, I loved the battle system and it's mechanics.. the story just ruined it for me. I haven't actually beat it (or got too far into) but from what I've seen it's just a rip off of FFT (the main character even looked exactly like Ramza). Maybe if someone I trust assures me the story get's better I might play it but as of right now it just seems like a bad childrens book trying to reference a best selling novel for credibility.

Story doesn't get better(I went about 3/4 into the game, maybe it suddenly gets amazing near the end). Battles are really simple, status effects are overpowered etc etc... not very good, really =\

It has the basics of the genre down well enough though, so I can still see people enjoying it, kind of like how we enjoyed any average RPG that we were lucky enough to have come to the US back in the SNES days.

it's not up to par with the original tactics, i don't know what it is, I just dont care for it as much. I've still put a good amount of hours on it.

I normally just use my GBA as a timewaster at work... Pokemon is pretty good for that. Something to think about.

Pokmon is actually brilliant. Me playing Ruby, my brother playing Sapphire, thems were the days. We had some epic battles.
