i just beat the game recently but i don' t and seen the surprisingly good ending. but still, I have no clue what your talking about. There were only 1 vivi Unless your talking about all the other black mages.

They said the where the sons of vivi or am i mistaken? It just stuck me as odd that it should introduce his son rather than vivi himself. Also i didnt know they had female Black Mages only other option would be if the Black Mages are Asexual

Showing his kids actually show the result of a new life. Vivi learnt a lot about his existence and that he's not just a senseless machine.... Showing the kids is the best confirmation for that.

But you couldn't see Vivi at the end.... and there's a good point you mentioned. He could actually be dead already....who knows?

It explaind that in the story. Vivi was an early model of the black mage, he was created with more magical power, he was made to last longer which I believe is why he was able to think and have a conscience, He was diffrent just like the Black Waltz's where diffrent.

Well in the game (I think around Disc 3 in the Black Mage village) Vivi was worried about "stopping" and I guess he did stop near the ending. But yeah I don't know how the little Vivis show up.

He needed to experiment with the gnomes so that Queen Brahne couldn't have black mages that lasted for ever and try to fight back against Kuja.

Vivi is still alive, we are just not shown him in the end sequence, as far as i can recall. The black mages weren't made to be able to reproduce. It doesn't REALLY matter if he's ACTUALLY farthered them he is the guy who brought them up.

That is untrue i believe although the prototype was built to live longer they never mentioned anyhting about the Genomes, they just said he would last longer, when talking aobut you have never been to Terra so therefore don't know what they are in the story yet.

I always thought Vivi went back to the Black Mage Village to teach the Black Mages about life, and hooked up with one of the Genomes. If I recall, the ending didn't say how long Zidane was gone... Alexandria had been fixed up by the look of it, and as anyone who's had a giant dragon destroy their town knows, that's gonna take a while. So It could be he was a dad at about... Yikes. When the black mages 'become aware', they get the ability to reproduce but don't know how to use it. There's like a key to it. Vivi found that key, and when he died his body kind of opened and all these purple eggs formed out his carcass and then they hatched, bringing all the new little Vivis in to the world. And then, one of the other mages told them all great stories about their parent, Vivi, and they were all like YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when terra exploded all Zidanes kind went to live with the black mages in their village (if you don't believe me look in the black mage village after terra explodes) and obviously the black mages and zidanes kind were created the same way, so they started reproducing and the little baby vivi's were born :D

All games have to end sometime and I don't hear a lot of people clamoring for an FFIX sequel like all the stuff they're doing with FFVII, or what was done with FFX, even though FFIX is probably the most deserving.

'K. You don't have to level to 99 to kill Ozma though, he's easily beatable at lower levels. Just make sure none of your characters are a level that's a multiple of 5 because he likes to use that L5 Death every once in a while.

Yeah, it is pretty neat. But the endings of Final Fantasy games usually don't tend to give away all that much --- have you played any of the others?

Daguerro is on a large island near Chocobo's Lagoon. It's a city where "water and knowledge come together" and the shops there have some of the best merchandise in the game, plus there are other secrets there as well. You need either an airship or a gold flying chocobo to get there.

I'd say Steiner, Freya, Zidane, and Vivi if you're intent on polishing him off fast, or Eiko (I consider her more useful than Garnet.), Steiner, Vivi and Zidane if you want to hang around long enough to steal all of Ozma's stuff.
