you dont, he's a joke boss, if you try to fight him he will always kill you, the only point is to see how long you can hold on.


but seriously, i didn't bother with sidequests for the msot part when i played through IX, so i never actaully fought him, but plenty of people around here have and have beatin him too, so you'll get some strategies from them soon

Yep, Ozma is a bit tough. But you can beat him. I just did yesterday.
I used Zidane, Eiko, Vivi, Aramant. Their levels were 81-93.

It is good if you did the friendly monster sidequest, because then you can hurt Ozma with physical attacks. ;)

he was easy..i uesed zidane,vivi,garnet and steiner....steiner fucking rocks!!

I've beaten him quite easily... I was at Level 90+ with Zidane, Garnet, Amarant, and Vivi on my team. The thing was, everyone but Zidane went down pretty quickly but Zidane refused to die, I swear it! Everyone told me that Ozma is hard to beat, but that is honestly a bunch of bull as long as your levels are high and you have the right equipment. And it really helps if you know what the hell you're doing! ;)

My first time through the game I found him really easy when I was expecting somehting tough, then my second time through I found really tough expecting him to be easy! I just didn't have hte right equipment but yeah he's easy and well worth the time to beat.

He is pretty tough.... but beatable.

I beat ozma twice it takes a while but make sure your party has the right items such as dark matter also the right protective gear as well as the right abilities and magic. The weapon doesn't need to be the ultimate because I beat it with just any regular weapons except for the the first weapon you get. But anyways it's weak against dark

Beat him very easily with Zidane Steiner Vivi and Garnet. Shock and Reflect Flare are so useful it isnt funny.

it took me awile and eiko and vivi were useless he kept killing them in one hit

Eiko, Amarant and Freya are the most pointless chars in the game, they could have been dont better.

I beat him on my fourth try. Since I couldn't reach Ozma, Zidane was forced to be healer along with Dagger, which left Steiner and Freya to attack the crap out of Ozma, Zidane was around 80 Steiner was around 70, eveyone else was around 60. With the right abilities equipped, I didn't have to worry about everyone being wiped out in one shot. I went in with Zidane trance guadge empty, but when it filled the battle was over because every attack did 9999, along with Steiner and Freya non-stop assault. I beat him a while back but as you can tell I'm still happy about it.
