Here is my DVD-Rip from Contact. It is from a Region-2 DVD, but the pitch/speed is corrected, as is the sample rate converted to 44.1kHz. Made in Wavelab with high quality algorithms.
Complete source music is included, 38 tracks at about 68 minutes (244MB).
For the artwork i used DVD-screencaps (no bluray back then), but of course the fonts are HQ. ;-)

Bluray spec alllows more bitrate over DVD, 640 Kbps for the iso stream.
Since it's bluray, no need to pitch correct.

And it's not much effort. This is the music as a separate audiotrack on the DVD (or bluray). No need to remove any speech or SFX. All it takes is patience and time :)

The specs for the bluray - AC3, 48 kHz, 5.1, 640 kbps
The specs for the DVD - AC3, 48 kHz, 5.1, 384 kbps

So the quality is somewhat better on the bluray (but still lossy).

And to repeat myself: I am NOT trying to belittle this upload, just giving you all some facts.

The R2 DVD (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00004CX8A/) had an isolated score. FYI, the region-free PAL Blu-ray (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0029TQW84/) has an isolated score in 5.1, like the U.S. Blu-ray (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001AQT0RC/).
