Is absolutely terrible, Worst band I have ever heard, My friend let me have one of their albums because I liked "Nymphetamine Fix" the bonus song with the girl in it, but the rest of it was rubbish, absolute crap.

But anyway, are there any fans who will defend this fact? Or is there anyone else who hates them as much as I do now.

I haven't been able to stand them since my brother first subjected me to their crap. It's even worse because he forces every new album of theirs on me in hopes I'll like it.

Meh I won't say they're crap. They are "okay" I can listen to it for a while but after a few songs it gets boring and repetative so I always stop short.

The girl is Liv Kristine and she's brilliant! CoF suck soooo bad though!

Yeah, that would be me. I dedicated an old SN on here to CoF. I was Nymphetamine Addict.

The instrumental parts to their songs are good, but Dani's vocals just piss me off.

The vocals ruin every attempt of good music.

have any of you actually heard more than one of there songs? are or u just talking trash to get another post? the vocals can be annoying, but i've never cared about singing. some of there music is melodic, and i'm one of those musicans that like speed, so of course the drumming has got to me. listen to some of there earlier stuff if u listen to black metal. if u don't listen to black metal at all, then of course your not gonna like it. thats my opinon.

I'm a big fan of CoF, but they're not Black Metal anymore. If you want real black metal I'd suggest Mayhem, Emperor, Venom, something like that. I love CoF but they're not Black Metal.

I've always been a fan of their album, Midian, but I could never really get into their other stuff. It just all sounded way too repetitive.

Come to think of it...I only liked about half the songs on Midian...heh.

Though, they are pretty damn awesome in concert.

I do listen to Mayhem, Venom, Emperor, Bathory, etc. Cradle of Filth is still black metal, its just polished a little, thats all.

i am a fan of CoF they are a good band that make some good music.the vocals may sometimes ruin it but there are some songs in which they go well with the song (mannequin and from the cradle to enslave), but he is a good vocalist because how vocalists can u say alternate there voice from high pitched to deep growl all the way thru their songs

i would like to know what kind of music you listen to? If its linkin park of Evanescence or any kind of mainstream crap that RAPS on about the same thing then you have no right to say that CoF is "absolutely terrible"
I am a die hard fan of cradle..i own all the albums that i can get my hands on of cradle of filth, and love all of them. Dont get me wrong, Dani has his days...but only to come back stronger...I would say his newest album, nymphetamine is not his Heaviest, but its sick what they do in it...
In Damnation and a Day...they got in an orgstra to play on the album...they have done remakes of several songs and have come up with so many original songs that its a wonder how Dani remembers the Poetic lyrics...
