Don't buy it on PS3 or at all as its a bad deal.Its supposed to include dlc but I can't find it on psn.Actually none of it is available and neither is the multiplayer pass.Im so angry now I want to go to ea office and beat up the managers.

Box says it's supposed to include dlc.I checked the manuals in the box with is 2 exactly and checked even the in game on disk manuals and nothing.I even looked on psn.I heard on google website people talking about mass effect trilogy,that you aren't supposed to need a multiplayer pass then why the heck is it ASKING FOR ONE!!!!!

I tried updating psn and updating my PS3 and nothing.All I could find is someone saying dlc isn't available in Europe included WTF!!!!? You serious? It says on the box it's supposed to be included and it's an American version bought in the us.

Let me guess: you live in Europe/have an European PSN account.

Good. Now, read very, very carefully what I'm going to write: your reaction is understandable, to some degree, but still one born out of ignorance; luckily, not all hope is lost.

There are three main PlayStation Stores:

- A Japanese one;

- An American one;

- An European one.

Normally, an European PS3-system/PlayStation Network ID would automatically connect to the EU PS Store. Obviously, since your Mass Effect copy is an American one, you can't access the DLC through your standard account. The system can't find a matching ID/etcetera on "your" Store, so you get a blank page. The system isn't entirely at fault, you see.

Here's what I want you to try:

- Create a new user on your PS3;

- Make a new PSN ID with that user and be sure to make it appear as "residing" in the U.S.A.;

- I've never played Mass Effect, but if it has some kind of "in-game" access to the PS Store, boot up the game while being logged into the American PSN ID and try to access the Store.

Um so it is because my account is Spanish? Then it isn't my fault.Besides the reason I do this in the first place is to avoid dubbing from Spain which is the cancer of gaming.

Yeah, the reason's most likely that. The game might not be region-locked, but the DLC is; you want to try getting the content with an American account.

I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get full enjoyment out of something I bought, or parents buy for me.The fact this has to happens, shows the system is flawed and needs fixing.

I fixed the goddam problem but now I can't download anything cause the shit internet times out on psn.

Are you serious? Should I remind you that back in the PlayStation/PlayStation 2 days you pretty much had to "pirate" your console/get tools which would also work for pirated games, in order to play games which weren't "from" your region? I sure had to install a chip on my PS/PS2, in order to play imported games, because the untouched platforms weren't having any of it.

It's goddamn logic, Nostalgia. Logic. It's an American game on a system "geared" toward European gamers->games->DLC. It might be a very small improvement, but you should count as a blessing the fact that most PS3 games (and the PS3) are region-free.

Still not my problem considering dubbing is Satans butthole itself.You ever play a dubbed game? Then quit whining, cause you don't know what pain is.I dealt with this shit for years.I had to friggin find ways to get snes games to work and if every game in the world had decent language selection instead of dubbing since the Spanish are too damm lazy to read so they have to dub everything with terrible actors who don't know how to act if their life depended on it.The only reason for having to deal with this impossible nonsense, is because they want you to buy the game in the country but they have the stupid lazy people who don't want to put it in English all the time because their too lazy to read.

Actually I have 2 ps2 and ps1.1 American one Spanish, so I can play both.I don't care about texts in Spanish as much, but I do care about voice acting.

It is your problem, genius. The same applies to movies, too, or rather, DVD and most likely Blu-ray releases. PAL/NTSC, ever heard of 'em?

And yeah, I've played dubbed games. Luckily, every time I've got a game dubbed in Italian, I've found our voice actors have done a rather decent->good job, especially on the Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver games. Sorry to hear you find the Spanish dubs not to your liking, most of the time, but still your problem, not the system's.

Well maybe then they should offer a system like in fucking lost odyssey with a few select language.They have more storage so no excuses and don't give me that bullshit, it's lazy.

I know what ntsc and pal is.I got pal and ntsc snes games.I remember having to put my ff6 copy on top of some device to play and got black screen on menu.Dvds have more room and blue rays have even more, so there is enough room to add languages.big languages are German French English Spanish and Japanese, or just have a system where you can download the language from the main site where the game comes from if it's digital so we can have it in English.Some of us can't go out in cars because we can't drive and don't want to have to move to another country or buy on Amazon if we have to because it's a pain in the ass.

Double-posting to give you another goddamn hint, in regards to the PS3: quite a few games have multi-language support, so, try this: have your PS3 system's language set to English, with any luck, the voices/menu will be in English, when you boot up a game.

Some games have one language option.Keep in mind we have blue ray tech and we have space to add multiple languages.Its not like the snes era with limited tech.We had it for years.I could understand early cd games being a problem with space on ps1 but a lot of dialogue was in English anyways and a lot was text too.Suikoden series anyone? Mostly text.Even the few cutscenes in ff7 most was text not voice acting, and text doesn't take as much space as voice acting.Even ff8 giving an example was mostly text.

Diablo 3 is a game I know for sure didn't offer multiple languages.I even checked on Google and people were complaining.I checked in stores in Spain, and lo and behold it was dubbed in Spanish.If you want to play dubbed games, that is your problem not mine, but I don't like dubbing, and if I could play in multiple languages I would buy it here.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=T7THU5xgngk

This here is an example of bastardization of a movie by dubbing it.Much is lost when you dubbed and sometimes jokes are lost.Its always better to just have the actor themselves dub, so at least it's the same emotion put in by Shakespearean actors.

DmC Devil May Cry is a (crappy) game which has multiple languages on the PS3 version, how do I know? Because I won the American version of it, yet, when I boot it up on my PS3 menu and voices are in Italian.
I don't care to have games dubbed in my language, Nostalgia, I never said it. What I wanted to say, originally, is that you're already goddamn lucky that the system (and most games) aren't region-locked, any more. While you might consider a slight annoyance having to create an American account, in order to access the DLC, be grateful you can do that and "fool" the system; we haven't always been that lucky.

I was around before the internet so I know about region locked games.Still doesn't excuse laziness and this would fix so many problems allowing people to buy.You have more language selection? Less pirating from me at least, because I can get the game and play it in the language I want.

I also played devil may cry.My friend leant it to me years ago and I beat it.I am talking about the original game not the others.I recall it being in English.

In your last post no.

Anyways no need to throw insults.

Either way there are a lot of mediocre translation games and bad.Actually:I really don't like Japanese voice acting.For an example:I listened to the voice acting from dissidia and I prefer it in English over the japanese originals, especially kefkas voice.I don't hear as much distinction in their acting as in English.There is that scene in dissidia where kuja is talking to cloud strife and I really liked the voice actor and the lines.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6NP3EGWpjXg Japanese kuja and zidane

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=byQZu8Lo5vk English us

English just sounds better overall.

I have the Mass Effect Trilogy set as well as the Mass Effect 3 N7 Collector's Edition on PS3 (this was a gift)... only DLC I'm missing was the second one from ME1 (The one on that space station where there's survival/time trials etc etc... waste of time on the 360, so I'm glad it was kept from PS3) as well as the Chakram Launcher Assault Rifle and Reckoner Knight armor for ME3... apart from those minor pieces... I have everything else, even the MP patches.

Also Nostalgia gamer, please remember to post threads in their correct subforum. The Mass Effect games are RPG's, so post them in the Role Playing Games subforum, not General Gaming. Cheers.
