This is my first official upload to the forums so don't kill me if I screw up.

So, not to be confused with the wonderful The Star Wars Symphony posted by JediJon, Star Wars - Symphony For a Saga was created by a poster over at originaltrilogy.com some 10 years ago. The work continued until T.B. (the person responsible for the arrangement) finished up Version 2.0 of his work around 2009/2010... he has since disappeared from the interwebs. These edits are quite wonderful, and in particular his suite for Phantom Menace is, dare I say, exceptional.

Just a note, the first disc, which contain the Prequel Suites is in three larger files for each film, the second disc has individual tracks for each specific movement of each episodic suite. However you can find more details about each track, and the work involved on this site:

http://www.jw-collection.de/misc/sw_symphony.htm

Music is in MP3/320

I'm really interested in somebody else's interpretation of John Williams's wonderful Star Wars music! Can't wait to take a listen!

FYI...the links you posted requires an encryption key. When you choose the download link, you want to pick the third option (all the way to the right) which includes the decryption key in the link. Don't worry...I did the same exact thing when I was first figuring out how to post links around here!

Can't wait to listen!

You forgot the decryption keys for both links, man.

Please fix the links by posting the FULL links instead of the shortened ones. The links are asking for decryption keys.

Exceptional indeed! Very well done, the TDOTF track at the very least. I LOVE IT!

To be perfectly honest, while I loved the way you interweaved several tracks of one prequel film into the movement of another (for example TDOTF into the RTOS movement) I wasn't entirely happy with your mixing at times. Just think of it as constructive criticism, please. I did enjoy the effort, very much so.

This has become my go to version for a quick and dirty Star Wars soundtrack listen, instead of the entire score for one particular film, should I so desire :)

Woohoo ! Another one of these elaborate edits for a galaxy far, far away ! Count me in.

Update: I only listened to the prequels, this is pretty good, I wished there were some more highlights present, a bit less of generic underscore, but overall this is a fine 'symphonic' like presentation of SW. It's all edited naturally and the music flows very well.

Now the OT on the other hands, pretty much every highlight is covered. Exemplary work on the editing.
