Hi all,

Thought this would be a good place to post as it's pretty much a given you all like film/game music. Classic FM, a UK national radio station with 5.3 million listeners each week, are holding their annual poll of classical music tastes and it'd be great to see video games get represented again. Last year saw games like Final Fantasy, The Last of Us, Halo and Kingdom Hearts get in but there are a lot more to choose from in their database.

Personally, I'd love for Shenmue, Shadow of the Colossus and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture make it in. All three have been played as part of Classic FM's game specials but the Hall of Fame gets these pieces in front of a much wider audience, broadcast over the Easter weekend.

You can vote at this link: http://halloffame.classicfm.com/2016/vote/

(It's a global vote but if you're outside the UK you won't get entered into the prize draw.)

Examples of last year's entries:

And that time Shenmue appeared:

Of course, the scores have to be orchestral and commercially available so things like Hotline Miami and Undertale are unfortunately invalid. If there's a particular score not in their database you can add it as a manual vote though. Do note that franchises are grouped - so Final Fantasy gets one vote, Zelda gets one vote etc. Makes for more diversity!

Would really appreciate the support. We all know how important game music can be so let's show the mainstream listener some great scores!
