I'm rather disappointed in the internet =/. Like the other releases I've posted today I've had them for a while. However unlike the others I held off on this one for a reason. Track 28 seems to be completely broken. No matter what program I try to rip the CD with the final track simply refuses to transfer correctly. Heck even just PLAYING the CD on it's own displays it skipping and full of annoying crackling sounds leading me to believe the disc itself is bad. So I thought I'd just wait for the OST to be posted so I could just add track 28 to my upload (while giving credit of course) and it would be done deal.

Turns out that apparently nobody else on the internet bothered to get this and it's been nearly a month. I don't doubt this will get released later but screw it. I'm uploading it anyway. The final track the japanese version of "By your Side". So at the very least it's merely an alternate version of a track already in the OST.

I bought it off iTunes at Christmas but didn't post it because I never got around to it...

I'm sorry to report that it's not just Track 28 that's knackered in your rip - track 19 is full of clicks and crackles too and there may be others.

Are you ripping with EAC or dBpoweramp, or if you're a Mac user, XLD?

These issues sound like an iTunes burst rip... very fast, but as you're discovering, not very good at reading problematic discs...

I just re-listened to track 19, and the mp3 version, at least, sounds fine. I can't hear any of the artifacts previously mentioned.

Thanks very much for this post, LeatherHead333! This is a really good score. I had no idea that they'd done another show in the original UC universe for Gundam. For me, it's the only one that's canon.

That's weird... I downloaded the MP3 version and, indeed, it doesn't have the artifacts in Track 19.

In the ALAC version, it's full of clicks and crackles.

I think I'll have to get my computer checked out this weekend then. It's been a problem with some of my other uploads like Dragon's Crown and Tokyo Ghoul apparently. Not sure if it's an issue of dust or what but since it's been a deal with all the different types of programs I tried it's likely not the programs themselves being faulty causing it.

May I ask what software you're using for ripping? :)

Bloody hell, and none of them can get a good rip of it? That CD must be completely knackered... If you're a Windows guy EAC might be able to do it...
