So I spent the past 2 days (and the better part of 5 straight hours last night) putting this together.
It is the complete soundtrack from the concert film Roger Waters The Wall.
I mainly made this version so I could have Waters' score that he made specifically for the film.
It's only a few tracks, but it's worth it.
I should also note that I got them as clean as I could, utilizing all 6 channels of the Blu-ray rip.
There is some subtle SFX, but it's nothing to worry about.
There are also a few tracks with Waters speaking that I felt would be nice to include.

It also differs from the retail release of the album in that it includes some things that were omit:
The cheers from the audience are more prominent, therefore it sounds more like a live album.
The sound effects are more present. These include:
The plane crashing into the wall at the end of In the Flesh?.
The sound effects of the fireworks throughout.
The sound effects when he fires off the machine gun into the crowd.
The sound effects when the wall collapses at the end.

Jasonjhn8 made the cover, which comes from the Amazon exclusive Blu-ray.
There are some alternates included in the archive.

The quality is AAC for now
Post in the thread if you want the link, I do not accept PMs
To all the Pink Floyd fans out there, this is for you
Enjoy :)

I'm a huge David Gilmour fan, but Roger Waters just does those songs better. Waters finds good guitarists to emulate Gilmour's style so you don't even realize he's missing, but Gilmour can't do the same on his end. Plus the remaining Pink Floyd members have called it quits, and Waters is still going strong. From his 2015 live performance he sounds like he hasn't aged much at all. That's what smoking does to you boys and girls. That being said, link please!

"Only a few tracks" it's 39!! haha!!

Only a few tracks of score. The only ones I really wanted were the first two: Missing Presumed Dead and On the Road. The score is getting a release, but it's exclusive to the Super Deluxe Edition. Only on vinyl, and it's $500. I can't afford that right now. So I did the only thing I knew how: extract from the Blu-ray.

If you're familiar with Floyd at all, you'll notice those 2 cues are instrumentals of When the Tigers Broke Free, from Waters' final Floyd album, 1983's The Final Cut.

Damn. Nice work. (I was an usher at the premiere of the film version of "The Wall" and I remember it for the fool who partook in high potency pharmaceuticals and during the film's first animated sequence totally, absolutely and completely lost his shit. Went full bull goose looney. Took five uniformed cops to subdue him. A better show than what was playing on screen.)

Oh, and a link please.

I also feel the need to show what Jason spent the lasy 3 days pouring all his time and effort into. This is custom utilizing the cover from the 2012 Immersion Remaster and the cover from the original 1979 studio album:

Please elaborate

I was attending the University of Miami during the cocaine heyday. (The school's flag should have been 'ludes on a field of coke. Oh, the scenes of wretched excess I witnessed, ye Gods.)

I worked at the Rivera theater, just across from the U of M. (We specialized in Midnight Madness films such as "Dawn of the Dead," "Caligula", "Road Warrior" and "The Wall.") And as aforementioned I was one of the ushers on premiere night and students packed the theater and the students were packed with drugs.

As soon as the lights went down, the crowd lit up and was in short order fully baked. (My boss, before the show began, told me to eject anyone smoking. He then retreated to his office for the duration and I totally ignored his order - it would have been like trying to hold back the Atlantic with a handful of Kleenex - seeing as my Mom did not raise a foolish child.)

Everything was fine, the crowd was deeply buzzed and most barely had a pulse or brainwave activity which is how I liked our customers. The more numb, the better.

Then came the first Steadman animation. There was a stunned hush and followed by a scream I can best describe as what losing your mind sounds like. I didn't think the human throat could produce that type of noise. Some kid started thrashing about, trying to escape from his row. Of course every seat was full so he solved the problem by picking said persons up and throwing them around like toys. The theater, not surprisingly, remained pretty quiet. Being high as an elephant's ass will do that.

One of the ushers ran to grab the on duty cop who was deliberately patrolling the area. (By this time Miami police had a lot of experience with drug related behavior.) My boss finally appeared, looked at the melee, looked at me and said, "you go stop him."

I told him not on minimum wage, I'm not.

Fortunately, the cops arrived en masse and subdued him. By sitting on him. Crude, but effective. I later heard he blew his mind out in a cloud of PCP.

So when I think of "The Wall" that's my enduring memory.

Umm yes he did lol. It was in the film when I saw it on September 29th, it's on the Blu-ray (just watched it) and it was even included on his 2010-2011 tour.

If it wasn't included in the Blu-ray, I wouldn't have been able to seamlessly incorporate it into my edit, and in 24-bit/48kHz/5.1, no less. Trust me, it's in there ;)

Thank you for your hard work, DAK. :)

It sounds great.
I immediately put it on my iPhone and went for a walk to listen to it in it's entirety.

Even though you warned me about some mild FX in the score portions they still wigged me out.
I kept hearing muffled voices and thought it was people around me, when there was no one.

Very much appreciated.

And it is indeed 24-bit, 48kHz and 5.1. Look at the files in iTunes.

And just because you asked for it, yes. Of course I have this in FLAC. I MADE it in FLAC. But it's several gigabytes and I'm an iOS user. Therefore I'm not clogging up my MEGA account with it and it's more convenient for me. Sorry Charlie.
