This is a personal rip. Not exactly videogames music, but great chiptune.

sechsterangriff: Thank you very much! This album reminds me so much of 90's Europop, which I grew up with!
Do you(or other here) know what the story is behind this album?

By the way, does anyone here think that "Train-Train" kinda reminds you about the track "Cloud Cuckooland and Ben the Spaceman" (or Everything Is Awesome?) from the Lego Movie? It really does to me :P

These are actually chiptune covers of well known Japanese pop songs, so it's not surprising this album may remind other pop music.
As far as I know this is Professor Sakamoto/PSKMT/Sakamoto Kyojyu first physical album and the only one not available for sale through digital download (thus my reason to post it here).
He's relatively well known in the chiptune and indie music scene in Japan, but he's also getting known overseas thanks to his weekly live piano (!) show (https://www.ustream.tv/channel/pskmt), collaborations with other artists, and of course also because of his "NES 8BIT Daft Punk Persona" .

Nice!

I really enjoy the album overall.
You wouldn't happen to know what "Train-Train" is based on? It would be nice to listen to the original track.. :)
