My little sis wrote this. I call her the sparkly-elf. Check out her pic on the Internet stalkers material thread, page 42.

Plastic chairs.
You would never tell with such grace,
The young adolecent sitting comfortably in the plastic chairs.
He taps his feet, staring into space,
While his friends walk around the room.

He shrugs and flicks his dark hair away from his eyes.
How could one, or any girl not stare,
The beautiful face, the one that tells such lies
Of love and lust, a girl get's sick of constant sin.

A rose amoung weeds, sweet, beautiful,
Loved by all.
But even roses have thorns, sharp despite how fruitful
That prick and pinch at barely healed wounds
Of a love long lost that bleeds anew.
Remembers the acts of heartbreak and bleeds
So much, the pain of love and lust coloured red,
Red... like a rose, the rose that sits on plastic chairs,
And flicks his dark hair away from his eyes.

She said that the plastic chairs were the chairs they have in her school, incase you don't know what it means.

Love Blaise.

Holy shit, a poem that doesn't rhyme.

...oh wait.

Red like a rose? Oh please. Why doesn't someone compare red to, say, a kitkat wrapper, or a london bus, or anything other than BLOOD OR ROSES.

NGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Say what you want, I thought it sounded cool. Yesterday she won an award for English because of that poem in her school. I'm so proud *wipes away a tear*.

I really was dared to do it. TRIPLE DOG DARED, I MIGHT ADD.

This new daring stuff is really quite retarded. Especially when its done by a bunch of 13 year olds who think its fun to call people gay and think its a huge deal to go out and say they are gay, even if they're just joking.

Seriously, if you're going to do truth or dare, at least do something that's actually DARING. Grow up.

You're acting like you're 13, or maybe younger. If you want to be liked/respected/etc on this forum, act your age.

Aang
01-24-2005, 03:27 AM
I AM acting my age. But hey, After the morning, I'm usually better then this. believe it or not, I actually didn't want to do that dare. i respect mrmonkeyman, even though he does RUIN EVERY THREAD.

April
01-24-2005, 03:51 AM
He doesn't ruin every thread, he actually criticises people, maybe a little harshly in some people's eyes, but still it's infinitely more useful than all you people who say everything's great just to up your post-count a bit.

Now, if you're quite done with your playground triple-daring can we get back to the poem ?

As Vyvyan said, I give a critique, though an embittered, angry critique, on everything.

A lot of people seem to put no effort into what they're writing and don't put anymore in when they're told "WOW THAT'S AMAZING" when it's actually grade A tripe.

So, in my own special way, I'm doing a service.

Well, mrmonkeyman, with ALL DUE RESPECT, you actually tear down people more than you help. Trust me, i was a bully in kindergarten. i've been picked on since second grade. Every time I tried to nice, they tore me down. Every time i fought back, they tore my sorry little weak, stupid, retarded butt down. And don't go trying to say I'm not any of those things, because it won't change anything.

"tear people down"... my my, aren't we a bit on the dramatic side dmglver2? some people say honesty is a virtue, i myself enjoy mrmonkeyman's criticisms, while everyone else sucks some 12 year old's balls cause of some stick figure picture he/she drew using mud and feaces, he reminds us of exactly how shit some of the art and fiction is on this site... and i always find it amusing

Well, aren't we cocky today?! Well, mr.patterson, if you're such a good artist, why don't you post some of your work? Huh? I bet I can draw two times better than you.

bitch, i'm cocky everyday and where the fuck in my post did it even hint at the fact that i'm an artist?
